Brandon Search Pasco HS, WA 11th S #39	Search no further. After staring during 1 on 1's, jumping 31.5 inches in the vertical, 9'0 on the broad and running a 4.69 40, Search took home the Overall MVP.  He has a great attitude, solid lateral movement and is a very good athlete.
Patrick Stanley Kuna HS, ID 11th QB #82	Stanley, 5'10 166, was the QB MVP. Stanley had a 29.5 inch vertical, has great feet, times his passes well and throws with solid accuracy.
Dakota Cole Emmett HS, ID 10th LB #73	Cole brought home the Sophomore Overall MVP. The 6'1 199 lb standout had an 8'0 broad jump, bench pressed 155 lbs 19 times and did a tremendous job during 1 on 1's. He has good size, solid coverage and pays attention at all times.
Austin Cook South Kitsap HS, WA 11th DL #89	Cook won the DL MVP. The 6'2 219 lb standout had an 8'7 broad jump, bench pressed 185 lbs 18 times, was easy to coach and did an outstanding job during 1 on 1's.
DeVaunte Wright-Lamb Pasco HS, WA 11th RB #94	Wright-Lamb won the Leadership award. At 5'9 166, Wright-Lamb hustled throughout the combine, keeping the rest of the athletes pumped up and had an 8'9 broad jump.
CJ Carbonaro Leigh HS, CA 11th FB #60	Carbonaro brought home the RB MVP. Powerful at 6'0.5 202, Carbonaro bench pressed 185 lbs 24 times and did a solid job during 1 on 1's. With speed, power and nicely ran routes, he looks to be a good overall player.
Tanner Smart West Side HS, ID 11th OL #95	The OL MVP at 6'1.5 218, Smart is exactly that on the football field. He did a great job during 1 on 1's, using excellent footwork and strength to excel, and bench pressed 185 lbs 14 times.
Mark Freeman Emmett HS, ID 10th WR #55	Freeman was crowned Combine King and won the Fastest Man award after a sensational showing on the gridiron. The 5'6.5 137 lb standout had a 30.5 inch vertical, 8'11 broad jump, ran a 4.50 40 and 4.62 shuttle. A terrific athlete indeed.
Cameron Cole Mountain View HS, ID 10th S #88	Cole, 5'11.5 171, brought home the DB MVP. The gifted Cole had a 30.5 inch vertical, 9'1 broad jump, ran a 4.58 shuttle, bench pressed 155 lbs 16 times and performed strongly during 1 on 1's.
Tyler LaPlante Lewiston HS, ID 11th LB #86	LaPlante won the LB MVP. LaPlante had an 8'8 broad jump, ran a 4.60 shuttle, bench pressed 185 lbs 16 times, had quick feet and played physical during 1 on 1's. This 5'9.5 190 lb standout is worth keeping an eye on.

Quick Hits from Columbia South Carolina Freshman Session!

·        Jordan Berry (Dutch Fork HS) was the leader of a talented pack, bringing home the Overall MVP.   At 5'10 146, Berry had tremendous hands, a 9'0 broad jump, ran a 4.38 shuttle and 4.63 40. With the help of a good weight lifting program, Berry will be an even bigger problem for defenses.

·        Augusta Christian's Thomas "Money  in the" Banks may only be in 8th grade, but he already has the looks of a super star. The 5'8.5 152 lb defensive back had an 8'7 broad jump, ran a 4.40 shuttle, has good hips and changes direction well. During 1 on 1's, he was all over the place. We can't wait to see what he does in the next few years.

·        Tyler Roberson (Augusta Christian) has a great attitude, works hard and knows how to keep those around him pumped up. A 6'0.5 178 lb QB, Roberson also had an 8'1 broad jump and ran a 4.31 shuttle.

·        Joshua Mercer (South Effingham) is a speed demon with awesome athleticism. The 5'10.5 171 lb Mercer put up tremendous stats, jumping an 8'10 on the broad, running a 4.32 shuttle, 4.58 40 and bench pressing 135 lbs 22 times. From an athletic standpoint, Mercer is the total package.

·        Bamberg HS' Nicholas Halmon did a terrific job during 1 on 1's and has very good strength. The 5'9.5 165 lb prospect, who won the LB MVP, had an 8'5 broad jump, ran a 4.58 shuttle, tossed up 155 lbs 23 times and was a beast during 1 on 1's. He is flexible, moves down hill well and listens at all times. This is what coaches are looking for from their players.

·        Richard Hayes was in a league of his own during the individual period, putting an everlasting impression on our coaches. The well deserved QB MVP at 5'9 145, Hayes throws a great ball, is a leader on the field, makes good choices and maintained his cool at all times.

News and Notes from Little Rock's Morning Session!

It was the first time but certainly not the last Schuman's NUC graced the field in Arkansas. Little Rock was rockin' indeed last Saturday morning, with an impressive group of 8-10th graders leaving their blood, sweat and tears on the gridiron with the prospects of earning a scholarship to play at the next level.

Marquis Walker (Rison HS) was the top player of the session, winning the Sophomore Overall MVP. The 5'9.5 173 lb standout had a 34.5 inch vertical, 9'0 broad jump, ran a 4.57, bench pressed 155 lbs 20 times and put on a clinic during 1 on 1's. He definitely has a bright future in football.

"Marvelous" Marvell Harris (Little Rock Central) is a stud athlete and a gifted running back. With the ability to do it all at 5'7, Harris had a 35.5 inch vertical, 9'9 broad jump, ran a 4.36 shuttle, 4.54 40 and was the top RB during 1 on 1's. His outstanding day earned him the coveted Combine King and RB MVP awards.

Tysean Norris (Harding Academy) and Desmond Smith (Bentonsville) shared the WR MVP award but have a lot more in common than that. Both prospects had quick feet, good hands and caught the ball well.

Central HS' Brian Anderson is a powerful linebacker and won the LB MVP. At 5'9.5 228 lbs, Anderson bench pressed 155 lbs 24 times, ran a 4.55 shuttle and played physically during 1 on 1's.

Dillon Turner is only 5'4 123 lbs, but as an 8th Grader, he has plenty of time to develop. Talent wise, he has terrific mechanics, makes good decision and is light on his feet. A unanimous choice for the 8th grade MVP, Turner has a bright future.

Finally, Jemar Clark is a big body and a lineman who has to be respected. The 6'4.5 276 lb OL MVP pushed around the opposing linemen during 1 on 1's and proved that size does matter.

Arkansas has an abundance of talent and a return seems imminent.

Interview with Jacksonville, NC Freshman DB MVP Dominick Johnson

Coach Schuman: What did you do to prepare for the National Underclassmen Combine?
Dominick Johnson: To prepare for the combine, I trained 3 times a week because I knew how important this can help me gain exposure.

Coach Schuman: Have you been to the NUC before? How did you do? What were your expectations going into this years event?
Dominick Johnson: this is actually my first time coming to this event and I thought I did really well for being it my first time. my expectations for going in were to win MVP and be able to showcase my skills as an athlete. also to compete against the best and see where I stand.

Coach Schuman: You were MVP! What are your goals now?
Dominick Johnson: My goals now are to keep striving for success and to do my very best at ultimate 100 camp and other future combines.

Coach Schuman: How did you hear about the National Underclassmen Combine and what was your favorite part about the event?
Dominick Johnson: I heard about the combine from national recruiting services and my brother Isaiah recommended it for me. My favorite part of the combine was receiving the DB MVP award.

Coach Schuman: If you can choose 5 schools where you would be interested in playing what would they be?
Dominick Johnson: My five favorite are Clemson, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Florida and Oregon.
Coach Schuman: What do you like about high school football? What are your goals for your team and yourself?

Dominick Johnson: I like the feeling that when you have good support from my fans and coaches I do my best. My goals are to help my team win a state championship and for me being a big part of  our team accomplishments.
Coach Schuman: Do you play other sports? Tell me about your accomplishments?
Dominick Johnson: I run track and I do the high jump and 200.

Coach Schuman: What is your favorite thing about football? What makes it a great sport to you?
Dominick Johnson: my favorite thing is seeing the win at the end of the game and knowing i did my best. what makes it a great sport is the contact and it helps you become a better player on an off the field.

Coach Schuman: Tell me about your training regimen...How do you get better every day?
Dominick Johnson: I lift and run on most weekends and I feel like I'm improving on my body.

Coach Schuman: What are you looking for in a college? Academically? football?

Dominick Johnson: I'm looking for a great education and in football I'm looking to help my team strive for the best.

Isaiah Johnson: My goals now are to keep working hard and start to receive college offers. Also to receive more exposure from combines.

Isaiah Johnson: I lift after school at football workouts Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. I get better everyday by working to my full potential.

Kyle Bolin Lexington Catholic HS, KY 9th QB #13	A star is born! For the second consecutive year, Lexington's Kyle Bolin took the combine by storm en route to winning the QB MVP, while competing against sophomores as a frosh. The 6'1 168 lb sensation ran a 4.54 shuttle, had tremendous mechanics, a quick drop step, good footwork and excellent accuracy. Expect to see this kid at a big time school a few years down the road.
Ethan Hinson Grayson County HS, KY 9th CB #37	Hinson, 5'6 158, won the DB MVP. Hinson had an 82 broad jump, ran a 4.55 shuttle, bench pressed 135 lbs 20 times had good feet, was easy to coach and picked off the QB four times during 1 on 1's.
Jacob Hyde Clay County HS, KY 9th OL #78	A gigantic 6'1.5 304, Hyde won the Overall MVP and Strongest Man awards. Hyde bench pressed 155 lbs 38 times, had a 24 inch vertical, had great quickness for a player his size, a good first step en route to dominating 1 on 1's. QB's can hide behind Jacob at any time without having to worry about getting sacked.
Alton Yarbrough Powers Catholic HS, MI 9th WR #35	Yarbrough, 5'11 158, won the WR MVP and Fastest Man awards. With a 31 inch vertical, 8'11 broad jump and 4.68 shuttle to boot, Yarbrough's athleticism helped him perform at a high level during 1 on 1's.
Barton Mann Russell County HS, KY 9th QB #1	Mann took home the QB MVP during the frosh session. At 6'2 170, Mann rana  4.56 shuttle, 8'0 broad jump, had good footwork, nice mobility and made good decisions.
Dalton Overbay Harlan HS, KY 9th LB #47	Overbay was awarded LB MVP. At 5'11.5 211, Overbay had an 8'5 broad jump, bench pressed 135 lbs 28 times, runs well, has a strong upper body and nice quickness.
Drew Kirby St. Albans HS, WV 9th FB #27	Kirby, 5'7.5 193, won the Leadership Award. Kirby had the attitude of a champion, ran a 4.60 shuttle, bench pressed 135 lbs 31 times.
James Maddox Lexington Catholic HS, KY 9th RB #37	Maddox, 5'7 162, won the RB MVP. At 5'7 162, Maddox  had a 27 inch vertical, 8'2 broad jump, bench pressed 135 lbs 20 times had great penetration, good quickness and nice football skills.
Jeffrey Canady Knox Central HS, KY 9th WR #44	Canady, 5'11.5 195, was crowned Combine King after posting solid all around statistics. Canady had an 8'10 broad jump, ran a 4.45 shuttle, bench pressed 135 lbs 25 times, was strong, explosive and had very good hands.
Christian McNeal Clay County HS, KY 9th DL #60	McNeal, 6'0.5 246, won the DL MVP. McNeal was a man amongst boys during 1 on 1's, using his quick hands, strength and long arms to dominate.
Tyler Schweitzer Highlands MS, KY 8th OL #74	Schweitzer, 5'11 228, won the OL MVP. Schweitzer had good strength and a solid understand of how to play the lineman spot.
Matthew Pyke Clinton MS, TN 8th OL #96	Pyke won the 8th Grade and co-OL MVP. A bulky 5'11.5 286 lber, Pyke  used his strength and good footwork to excel during 1 on 1's. There is definitely a lot of potential here.

Devin Clarke Sebring HS, FL 11th WR #13	Clarke, 5'10.5 150, won the Overall MVP. Clarke had a 31 inch vertical, 9'0 broad jump and put on a clinic during 1 on 1's. He was tough as nails, ran great routes, had very strong hands and did a terrific job of breaking off the jam.
Corey Tindal Stranahan HS, FL 11th CB/S #30	Tindal was the Fastest Man award winner and a terrific athlete as well. At 5'9 162, Tindal had a 10'2 broad jump, ran an NFL-like 4.40 40 and a 4.65 shuttle.
Marquis White Coconut Creek HS, FL 11th RB #49	White took home the RB MVP. At 5'11 170, White had an 8'8 broad jump, ran a 4.5 shuttle, had great hands, solid speed and great feet.
Kyle Wilcox Wharton HS, FL 11th RB #68	Wilcox was crowned Combine King and co-RB MVP. The 5'8.5 184 lb sensation had a 35.5 inch vertical, 9'8 broad jump, ran a 4.51 40, bench pressed 185 lbs 23 times and performed well in 1 on 1's.
Preston Ritchie Charlotte HS, FL 11th CB #22	Ritchie won the DB MVP. Athletically gifted at 5'7 155, Ritchie had a 32 inch vertical, NBA-esque 10'2 broad jump, ran a 4.24 shuttle, 4.42 40  and was a man amongst boys during 1 on 1's. He had great recovery speed, jams the WR's well, moves well from the hips and always finished the plays. Preston Ritchie; remember the name.
Tyler Pierson Countryside HS, FL 11th OL #101	A giant at 6'4 281, Pierson won the OL MVP. Pierson bench pressed 185 lbs 20 times, ran a 4.97 shuttle and was steady during 1 on 1's.
Michael Glover Braden River HS, FL 11th WR #29	Glover got his gloves on the ball en route to taking home the WR MVP. at 5'10 153, Glover had a 31.5 inch vertical, 8'8 broad jump, had great feet, worked hard to break free out of the jam and made a number of catches in traffic.
Joshua Tanner Freedom HS, FL 11th DL #75	Tanner, 6'2 212, won the DL MVP. Uniquely talented for a linemen, Tanner had a 31.5 inch vertical, 9'2 broad jump, ran a 4.59 shuttle, 4.61 40 and did a great job in 1 on 1's. Tanner has big time upside.
Chase Vaughn Clearwater Central Catholic HS, FL 11th #74	Powerfully built at 5'10 269, Vaughn won the Strongest Man award. Vaughn bench pressed 185 lbs 30 times.
Matthew Grubb Sebring HS, FL 11th QB #12	Grubb, 5'10.5 182, took home the QB MVP. Grubb's receivers feasted on a number of perfectly placed, tight spiraled passes.
Trini Sutton Sebring HS, FL 11th LB #28	Sutton, 5'10 178, was the MVP MVP. Sutton had a 32 inch vertical, 9'0 broad jump, ran a 4.5 shuttle and was physical during 1 on 1's.

Prospects Look to Jumpstart their recruiting exposure in Jacksonville!

The National Underclassmen Combine returns to the Jacksonville/Wilmington this weekend at Eugene Ashley HS with hopes of finding a big time recruit from this small region.

two star recruit DeAnthony Williams (Northside HS) was the star at the 09' combine, battling throughout the event for pride, glory and a shot to make a difference at the next level. The 6'0 277 lb d-tackle is a terrific student athlete with great physical strength and has generated interest from Maryland.

Brian Laws Jr. (White Oak) was amongst the top athletes of the season and took home the Combine King/WR MVP awards just one year ago. The athletically gifted 6'0 153 lb Laws had a 32 inch vertical, 9'9 broad jump and did a terrific job during 1 on 1 drills.

Donjore Gainey (Northside) led the underclassmen by storm just one year ago, taking home the RB MVP. At 5'9.5 164, Gainey had a 9'0 broad jump, ran a 4.73 shuttle, bench pressed 135 lbs 22 times and displayed tremendous potential during 1 on 1's.

"The Jacksonville, North Carolina region is flying under the radar in the scheme of things, but that doesn't indicate a lack of talent", said NUC CEO &President David Schuman. "Any knowledgeable scout will tell you that the next great prospect could come from Alaska or Zimbabwe, so athletes competing in the smaller regions must receive equal attention."

Current 8th-10th graders are slated to compete at 8 am on Saturday, while juniors are slated to put their talents on display the very same day at 1 PM.

All players will partake in pro-style combine testing, including the 40-yard dash, broad jump, bench press, vertical leap, and shuttle run along with position specific drills, 1 on 1’s and 3 on 3 competitions.

Top Tier Talented Expected This Weekend in Tampa!

The NUC returns to the talented Tampa region this weekend, with all eyes set to be on the area's rising prospects. In 2009, the Tampa camp produced multiple stars, thus there is no reason to predict a 2010 drop-off.

Iowa State bout Jeremiah George (Clearwater HS) won the Overall MVP and Leadership award at the junior camp last year, displaying a terrific attitude, sensational athleticism and good ability as a linebacker. The 5'10 191 lb George was a three star recruit on Rivals.com, and rated amongst the top LB's in the nation.

Miami bound Jonathan Feliciano (Western) is en route to becoming a Hurricane, but was a major whirlwind at the combine. The 6'4 283 lb monster dominated as an offensive linemen and set the bar high for the 10' combine class.

Star underclassmen from the talent-ridden 09' class included DL Gary Myrick (Nature Coast), safety Chris Callaway (Braden River), WR Austin Aikens (Tampa Catholic) and ultra talented 8th grader Leon McQuay (Jennings).

As a consistent leader in football talent, NUC CEO & President David Schuman is excited to fly out to Tampa this weekend.

"Between Tampa, Orlando and Miami, prospects the state of Florida can collectively create a national championship contender", stated Schuman. "The Tampa combine has consistently been one of the best we have to offer and we are yet to see a drop off in talent, even though the bar continues to get higher annually."

Current 8th and 9th  graders are slated to compete at 8 am on Saturday, Sophomores 1 pm Saturday, while juniors hit the field at Jefferson HS on Sunday March 21at 1 PM.

Coach Schuman: What did you do to prepare for the National Underclassmen Combine?
 
Kadetrix Marcus: I practiced my technique for 1 on 1's and my 40 so I could get a good time. I've been working out everyday in the weight room to.

Coach Schuman:Have you been to the NUC before? How did you do? What were your expectations going into this years event?
 
Kadetrix Marcus: Yes I have. I did well I won the overall MVP at u100 and db MVP last year at the combine at Riverwood HS in Atlanta. I was expecting to be bigger, better, faster, stronger, and smarter so this would help me do my best which I did.

Coach Schuman:You were MVP! What are your goals now?
 
Kadetrix Marcus: To continue to work hard on the field and in the classroom. Have a good season and win state. Continue to go to camps and ball out.

Kadetrix Marcus: They would be Clemson, Auburn, South Carolina, Georgia Tech, and Virginia Tech. I wish it was more than 5 because their are a lot of schools I would want to play for.

Coach Schuman:What do you like about high school football? What are your goals for your team and yourself?
 
Kadetrix Marcus:It is very intense. It doesn't matter how much better you are to the next person they will always compete at the best of their abilities. I don't see anything better than playing on Friday night! I want to win state as well as my teammates so that's the biggest goal. Myself I want to benefit where ever I need to play and at safety have 80 plus tackles 4 plus int. 4 plus force fumbles and a lot of knock downs.

Coach Schuman:Do you play other sports? Tell about your accomplishments?
 
Kadetrix Marcus: I run track. I was honorable mention all region last year. I led the team in tackles. I was invited to the US Army All-American combine.

Coach Schuman:What is your favorite thing about football? what makes it a great sport to you?
 
Kadetrix Marcus: It is very fun and you get to bond with your teammates and play the sport that we love which is football. Football teaches you how to become a better person now and man when you get older their are many life lessons in the game of football. It is also a way for you to receive a free college education.

Coach Schuman:Tell me about your training regimen...How do you get better every day?
 
Kadetrix Marcus: I run a lot and work on my footwork for db. I eat 4 to 5 times a day I lift weights everyday and this helps me become a better player.

Coach Schuman:What are you looking for in college? Academically? football?
 
Kadetrix Marcus: I am looking for a school that fits me the best. Academics is the most important and how many senior athletes graduate from their University will be a factor. The school has to have good traditions as well and it does not have to be a top 25 team in the nation because the goal will be to get their. I have to bond with the coaches and players at the University as well. My parents have to like the school as well because I will be spending the next 3 to 5 years there.

Freshmen display First Class Potential at Tri-Cities HS!

Last Saturday morning at Tri-Cities HS an abundance of talented freshman took the field with something to prove. Many players attend their first combine as a freshman, thus slip ups or anxiety is expected, but this was far from the case in one of America's most sacred regions for football talent.

Shaquille Wiggins (Westlake HS) was a man on a mission; or should we say on a "Shaq Attack". Wiggins took home the Overall MVP award after completely shutting down the WR's during the individual position period to the point where literally all eyes were on him. At 5'7.5 136, Wiggins has good quickness (running a 4.34 shuttle) and plays physically for a player his weight.

Mike Payne (Dougherty) and Spencer McManes (Blessed Trinity) shared the QB MVP award. With quick releases, good arm strength and superior patience, these two rising stars had terrific completion percentages.

Playing at home is an advantage and a confidence for any athlete; just ask Tri-Cities' Dominique Threatt, who won the OL MVP. The 6'1 288 lb monster made things uncomfortable for opposing linemen and the 1 on 1's were barely competitive when Threatt stepped up to the line.

With an rockets in his seemingly cleats and blessed genetics Otis Washington (Luevlla MS) won the Combine King and Fastest Man award. The 5'7.5 145 lb Washington had a 32.5 inch vertical, 9'0 broad jump, ran a 4.54 shuttle and 4.64 40. Impressive to say the least for a player who is yet to enter high shcool.

Tauren Ferguson (Jonesboro) may be a small for a wide out but after winning the WR MVP, he clearly demonstrated his ability more than compensates for his lack of height. Ferguson, 5'6.5 154, had an 8'4 broad jump, ran a 4.30 shuttle and was a man amongst boys during 1 on 1's. Ferguson had great hands, ran pro-style routes and consistently created separation between himself and the d-backs.

The game of football, like any sport, consistently has surprises. After yet another terrific combine session, hearing about a talented player from the Atlanta region is about as shocking as Brett Favre attempting another comeback.

ATLANTA GA 9TH grade NUC Schuman’s Outstanding Performance List
Shaquille Wiggins Westlake HS, GA 9th CB #45	Shaq is on the attack once again; just this time, it's on the football field. Immensely talented at 5'7.5 136, Wiggins won the Overall MVP award. Wiggins had an 8'1 broad jump, ran a 4.34 shuttle (which is terrific for a frosh) and starred during 1 on 1's.
Mike Payne Dougherty HS, GA 9th QB #18	Payne brought exactly that to the defense during 1 on 1's en route to winning the QB MVP and Leadership award. The 5'11 181 lb Payne had a 27 inch vertical, ran a 4.66 shuttle, had great arm strength, good accuracy, impressive technique and was a vocal leader throughout the event. Payne provides everything a coach looks for from his QB.
Spencer McManes Blessed Trinity HS, GA 9th QB #16	Blessed Trinity HS is exactly that, as this 6'1.5 188 co-QB MVP award winner is a star in the making. McManes has a strong arm, good accuracy, is consistently making the right choices with the football and has good feet.
Jordan Howard Shades Valley HS, AL 9th RB #36	Howard, 5'11.5 195, won the RB MVP. Howard ran a4.49 shuttle had good hands, played aggressively and ran nice routes.
Dominique Threatt Tri-Cities HS, GA 9th OL #96	Threatt eliminates exactly that for his QB each and every time he lines up. The 6'1 288 lb Threatt took home the OL MVP after  neutralizing the d-linemen during 1 on 1's, displaying terrific power and great feet.
Lance Austin Lamar County MS, GA 8th CB #29	Austin, 5'6.5 143, won the 8th grade MVP. Austin had an 8'1 broad jump and performed at a high level during 1 on 1's giving it his all every time he lined up against the WR's.

Trenton Hill Uniion Grove HS, GA 9th LB #36	Hill took home the LB MVP after a strong performance. At 5'7 174, Hill had good lateral movement, moved downhill well, was a good listener and understands the key points of football.
Jordan Dunham Eastside HS, GA 9th OL #95	Dunham, a gargantuan 5'11 303 lb o-lineman, won the Strongest Man award. Dunham almost literally tossed up 155 lbs 27 times and has the kind of strength to protect his QB consistently.
Taurean Ferguson Jonesboro HS, GA 9th WR #9	Ferguson, 5'6.5 154, took home the WR MVP. Ferguson had an 8'4 broad jump, ran a 4.30 shuttle and was a superstar during the 1 on 1's. Ferguson ran terrific routes, catches the ball well and is exceptional at creating separation between himself and the DB.

Jenkins Tops a Tremendous Sophomore Session in Atlanta!

Harris County HS' Jordan Jenkins was in a league of his own as a defensive linemen and the best of the best in the top camp of 2010 thus far. He was a man amongst boys; Goliath lining up against David. The 6'2.5 228 lb standout won the Overall MVP and Combine King award following a performances for the ages. Jenkins had a 33 inch vertical, 9'5 broad jump, ran a 4.41 shuttle and was beyond sensational during 1 on 1'
Jenkins was quick, athletic, explosive and simply hard to cover, almost literally forcing the o-linemen to pull their hair out during 1 on 1's. From the his NBA like athleticism to pure skill as a d-linemen, Jenkins is the total package and a highly touted recruit.

Sampson "Alec" Baldwin (JL Mann Academy) has a ton of flare in his game and has superstar potential. At 5'9 164, the WR MVP needs to continue to get bigger, but the skills are there. Baldwin has a 30.5 inch vertical, 9'4 broad jump, runs a 4.44 shuttle and has sensational hands. Baldwin also runs Larry Fitzgerald type routes, making himself an available target for his QB every time he calls hike.

This isn't a heavyweight boxing match or the 1940's but Joe Louis-Harris was a powerful force and not one to mess with. At 6'3 327 Harris, the top o-lineman , had quick feet, terrific power (yes this Joe Louis has big time power too), and tremendous technique. Harris is a great protector of the QB.

Jonah Guinn (Walnut Grove) won the QB MVP. Guinn has unmatched fundamentals for a 16 year old, taking his time and hitting his receivers right in the chest during 1 on 1's. The 5'11 172 lb Guinn has good strength, bench pressing 155 lbs 23 times, and quick feet. This kid is definitely a solid leader and the kind of player I would want running my offense.

Rodney Garvin (Creekside) is a high intensity linebacker with great all around skills. The 5'9 185 lb star won the LB MVP after his 8'10 broad jump, 4.54 shuttle run, 25 reps of 155 lbs on the bench press and exceptional 1 on 1 abilities put him atop the food chain. Garvin runs hard, tracks the ball well and is looks to be a terrific run stopper.
Carnell "oh" Boyd won the Leadership award and is a terrific player. The Westlake HS star had a 9'3 broad jump, ran a 4.59 shuttle and 4.62 40 while remaining vocal throughout the event. Every team needs a Carnell Boyd.

It was little surprise that Atlanta was a tremendous combine once again. Simply put, this area is a football hotbed.

Carnell Boyd Westlake HS, GA 10th WR #84	Boyd, 5'10.5 171, won the Leadership award. Boyd hustled as if there were no tomorrow and was vocal throughout the event, keeping this extremely talented group of athletes pumped up. Boyd also had a 9'3 broad jump, ran a 4.59 shuttle and 4.62 40. A leader and a good athlete indeed.
Jadarius West Charles Drew HS, GA 10th CB #57	West, 5'8.5 170, was the Fastest Man award winner. The fleet footed west ran a 4.44 shuttle, 4.49 40 and had a 9'0 broad jump. West's quickness spells trouble for WR's.
Brandon McCoy Villa Rica HS, GA 10th LB #60	McCoy, a 5'8.5 206 lb powerhouse, took home the Strongest Man award. McCoy bench pressed 155 lbs an impressive 44 times, had a 32.5 inch vertical and a 9'3 broad jump. In being both strong and athletic, McCoy has a lot to offer.
Jonah Guinn Walnut Grove HS, GA 10th QB #19	Guinn won the QB MVP. Technically sound at 5'11 172, Guinn had an 8'3 broad jump, bench pressed 155 lbs 23 times, had good feet, terrific awareness and made a number of impressive passes. Guinn looks to be the real deal.
Joe Louis Harris Lithonia HS, GA 10th OL #84	70 years after the great heavyweight bearing his name was on top of boxing, Joe Louis Harris, a giant in his own right, took home the OL MVP at the combine. A monstrous 6'3 327, Louis-Harris dominated 1 on 1's, using his good feet and power to silence the DL during 1 on 1's.
Jarontay Jones Stephenson HS, GA 10th Dl #101	Jones, 6'1.5 208, nabbed the DL MVP. Jones had an 8'4 broad jump, bench pressed 185 lbs 17 times, was great at getting off the ball, terrific athleticism and was very coachable.
Rodney Garvin Creekside HS, GA 10th LB #15	Garvin, 5'9 185, took home the LB MVP following a terrific all around performance. The gifted Garvin had an 8'10 broad jump, ran a 4.54 shuttle, bench pressed 155 lbs 25 times, had good speed, a great understanding of the game and exceptional agility. Garvin is the total package.
Charles Purnell Westlake HS, GA 10th RB #62	Purnell, 5'8 170, won the RB MVP. Garvin ran a 4.59 shuttle, great quickness, nimble feet, good moves and great hands. Purnell looks to be a Ray Rice type back.
Samson Baldwin JL Mann Academy, SC 10th WR #67	Baldwin came up with the WR MVP after a highly impressive performance. Baldwin had a 30.5 inch vertical, 9'4 broad jump, ran a 4.40 shuttle, made a number of great catches and displayed exceptional route running ability. This 5'9 164 lb sensation has a bright future.
Geno Smith St. Pius X HS, GA 10th CB #16	Smith, 5'11 160, took home the DB MVP. Smith had a 30 inch vertical, 9'2 broad jump, ran a 4.44 shuttle, 4.60 40, had great hips, good feet and the leaping ability to scare away QB's from throwing the ball in his direction.
Jordan Jenkins Harris County HS, GA 10th DL #69	The man, the myth the legend; Jordan Jenkins. Ridiculously talented at 6'2.5 228, Jenkins won the Overall MVP and Combine King awards. Jenkins had a 33 inch vertical, 9'5 broad jump, ran a 4.41 shuttle, 4.67 40 and was a man amongst boys during 1 on 1's. Jenkins was extremely athletic, quick off the ball, explosive and had a great understanding of the game. Jenkins will be a D-1 star in a few years. Mark my word.
