Coach Schuman: What did you do to prepare for the National Underclassmen Combine?
Dominick Johnson: To prepare for the combine, I trained 3 times a week because I knew how important this can help me gain exposure.
Coach Schuman: Have you been to the NUC before? How did you do? What were your expectations going into this years event?
Dominick Johnson: this is actually my first time coming to this event and I thought I did really well for being it my first time. my expectations for going in were to win MVP and be able to showcase my skills as an athlete. also to compete against the best and see where I stand.
Coach Schuman: You were MVP! What are your goals now?
Dominick Johnson: My goals now are to keep striving for success and to do my very best at ultimate 100 camp and other future combines.
Coach Schuman: How did you hear about the National Underclassmen Combine and what was your favorite part about the event?
Dominick Johnson: I heard about the combine from national recruiting services and my brother Isaiah recommended it for me. My favorite part of the combine was receiving the DB MVP award.
Coach Schuman: If you can choose 5 schools where you would be interested in playing what would they be?
Dominick Johnson: My five favorite are Clemson, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Florida and Oregon.
Coach Schuman: What do you like about high school football? What are your goals for your team and yourself?
Dominick Johnson: I like the feeling that when you have good support from my fans and coaches I do my best. My goals are to help my team win a state championship and for me being a big part of our team accomplishments.
Coach Schuman: Do you play other sports? Tell me about your accomplishments?
Dominick Johnson: I run track and I do the high jump and 200.
Coach Schuman: What is your favorite thing about football? What makes it a great sport to you?
Dominick Johnson: my favorite thing is seeing the win at the end of the game and knowing i did my best. what makes it a great sport is the contact and it helps you become a better player on an off the field.
Coach Schuman: Tell me about your training regimen...How do you get better every day?
Dominick Johnson: I lift and run on most weekends and I feel like I'm improving on my body.
Coach Schuman: What are you looking for in a college? Academically? football?
Dominick Johnson: I'm looking for a great education and in football I'm looking to help my team strive for the best.
