As part of our new segment on DavidSchuman.com & National Underclassmen Combine System I will will begin analyzing all of the players that I enjoyed watching this year at our events.
Lavant Moore, Class 2010: WR, 6-1.5, 168, Burke HS, NE
Quick Write-up:
Lavant was a relative unknown, when he ended up becoming the #5 receiver at the Top Prospect Camp. He made some amazing catches and arguably the catch of the year with a one handed touchdown catch in 7 on 7, which has already made the www.youtube.com/nucfootball highlight reels. His 4.73 40, 8-10 broad and 30 inch vert are solid, but not overwhelming.
Further Analysis:
He has very good size, solid route running and a unique ability to make big plays in the most important situations. He did it at our top prospect camp as a relative unknown. He was invited out of the NUC Des Moines camp and was very solid there but did not win an award. Against top competition he outshone some more highly touted prospects and mades some amazing catches. His game film is solid, but he can be decptive due to his smooth style of play. He has to improve change of direction, but his football ball skills are top notch. His senior year will dictate whether he goes big time or not. I really like his potential and skills as a receiver and like his height. Out of the state of Nebraska, I think he would be a contributor at a school like nebraska! He is very intriguing!
I dont grade guys based on stars or scores, I rate them on whether they can play!

TOP PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Willie Byrn, WR, CLASS OF 2010
As part of our new segment on DavidSchuman.com & National Underclassmen Combine System I will will begin analyzing all of the players that I enjoyed watching this year at our events.
Prospect:
Willie Byrn, Class 2010: WR, 5-10.5, 165, First Colonial HS, VA
Quick Writeup
4.68 40, 9'5 broad, 4.08 shuttle, 32.5 inch vertical at the U100 Camp East, exceptional numbers and athletic ability couples with flat out great hands makes Willie a huge threat to make plays.
Dodie Donnell Award(top football player)-2009 U100 East
#5 rated receiver-u100 Top Prospect Camp
Further Analysis:
Willie is a classic example of a guy who has slipped under the radar, each camp he attends he just makes plays and makes catches in 7 on 7 and 1 on '1 reminiscent of Michael Bennett who was at our NUC atlanta was the U100 WR mvp in 2008 southeast, but willie is slimmer and not quite as tall, which is why he goes under the radar. He runs amazing routes, makes big catches and was Michael German's (#2 rated QB at Top Prospect Camp) go to receiver in the 7 on 7 tournament at the Top Prospect Camp. Amazing ability to make big plays, coupled with good speed and nice athleticism, makes him an interesting prospect. Almost every single athlete that has one the Dodie Donnell award has gone onto to D-1a (unless they had grade issues) and Willie should be the same, unfortunately he is getting recognized a little later in the game. He will be a great receiver to wherever he goes to and his smooth ability to get open will continue at the next level.

TOP PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Bryan Thomas, WR, CLASS OF 2010
As part of our new segment on DavidSchuman.com & National Underclassmen Combine System I will will begin analyzing all of the players that I enjoyed watching this year at our events.Prospect:
Bryan Thomas, Class 2010: WR, 5-8.5, 160, Blanche Ely HS, FL
Quick Writeup
MVP at WR at the Orlando NUC camp and Ranked #3 at WR at the U100 Top Prospect Camp, capping it off with a 9'0 broad, 4.3 and change shuttle, 4.6 and change 40, and a 30 inch vertical, Bryan is a long line of great athletes and even better football players that come from Blanche Ely HS
Further Analysis:
Here is the deal, Great hands, amazing route running and spectacular change of direction, moving in and out of his routes seemlessly, i saw him perform at the U100 camp in the Southeast where he was among the top WR's among an amazing group of WR's and really stood out in 7 on 7 when he teamed with his QB, Michael German to stand out and make the championship game in the 7 on 7 tournament. He is undersized, but makes up for it with great game play and route running. I see him as a great complimentary slot receiver at the D-1 level. He will be a D-1 player the question will be where?

TOP PROSPECT ANALYSIS: BRANDON PECHLOFF, QB, CLASS OF 2010
As part of our new segment on DavidSchuman.com & National Underclassmen Combine System I will will begin analyzing all of the players that I enjoyed watching this year at our events.
Prospect:
Brandon Pechloff, Class 2010: QB, 6-7, 215, Montini Catholic, IL
Quick Writeup
Brandon Pechloff one of the most decorated QB's at The NUC. Time and time again he has delivered wins and championships in 7 on 7 in U100 Camp. He has good footwork, tremendous arm and even better gametime accuracy. His biggest asset is that when a big throw is needed he seems to always deliver.
U100 QB MVP-Southwest 2008
U100 QB MVP-Midwest 2009
#3 Rated QB U100 Top Prospect Camp 2009
Further Analysis:
Brandon is in his first year starting at Montini Catholic is throwing touchdowns left and right. He is on pace to throw more touchdowns than Matt Barkley did in his big Junior Season. Expect offers to roll in for Brandon even though he is late to the game. He led his team to the championship in the u100 camp in 2008 in Southwest and in U100 Midwest this year and at the Top Prospect he lead his team to the championship as well. Good footwork, and incredibly live arm with very good accuracy. A giant, will have no problem seeing over the line. He has a good delivery, but could use more work on the speed of the delivery. From what i have seen at the camps all the kids who play on his teams, step it up because they believe they have a chance to win when Brandon's is on the team. He needs to keep working on his quickness, but he is a QB who will get better and better. His athleticism has improved dramatically with an almost 9ft broad jump and 27 inch vert.
I dont grade guys based on stars or scores, I rate them on whether they can play!

TOP PROSPECT ANALYSIS: MICHAEL GERMAN, QB, CLASS OF 2010
As part of our new segment on DavidSchuman.com & National Underclassmen Combine System I will will begin analyzing all of the players that I enjoyed watching this year at our events.
Prospect:
Michael German, Class 2010: QB, 6-2, 195, Blanche Ely HS, FL
Quick Writeup
Michael Combines good athleticism with a great arm and consistent passing. He is a tremendous leader and has 4.6 shuttle and 25 inch vert to go along with Passing skills.
Awards: QB MVP-Orlando and Miami NUC
U100 Southeast Top 100
U100 Top Prospect Camp and rated #2 QB at camp
Further Analysis:
Michael is a very intriguing prospect. In one on one's he always displayed great accuracy, timing and delivery. In 7 on 7 tournament in U100 southeast he was inconsistent, showing great flashes, but then he would make some bad decisions. At the U100 Top prospect camp he was on point, amazing in one on ones, great in athletic drills and then superior in 7 on 7 tournament leading his team to the championship game against the heralded Brandon Pechloff. He was tremendous over those two days in Oklahoma and ended up being rated the #2 QB at camp next to Tyler Bray with Pechloff finishing third. Quite accomplishment, he was cool calm, and on film he displays that ability as well, leading a very good Blanch Ely Team in florida. He is a definite D-1 prospect and in the right program with the right development he could become a superstar.

TOP PROSPECT ANALYSIS: Khiry Mcquay, CLASS OF 2010
As part of our new segment on DavidSchuman.com & National Underclassmen Combine System I will will begin analyzing all of the players that I enjoyed watching this year at our events.
Prospect:
Khiry Mcquay, Class 2010: DB, 5-8, 164, Armwood HS, FL
Quick Writeup
There is no quick writeup for Khiry, As he is the most decorated NUC athlete of all time, here is a list of his awards:
DB MVP, 2007, Tampa
Overall MVP, 2007 U100
DB MVP, 2008 Tampa
DB MVP, 2008 Orlando
Dodie Donnell U100 Camp Southeast 2009
DB MVP, 2009 Miami
Top Prospect Camp Athlete MVP
Fastest 40, 4.53 9-6 broad jump, 30 inch vert, great athlete with great speed and athleticism with insane ball skills on both offensive and defensive side of ball
Further Analysis:
The bottom line on Khiry is he is one of the best pure football players i have seen at our events....He is easily the most decorated and is so athletic, quick and with surprising strength that he can play corner bump and run or off....amazing backpedal, he and Leon Francois have the best backpedal i saw all year. Amazing ball skills, it is amazing to me, how he always has 2-3 picks every one on one no matter where he is or who he is against. As a receiver he has great route running, quickness and amazing hands...he can play equally well on either side of the ball....The knock on him used to be he wasnt fast enough, so Khiry dispelled those myths by breaking Armwood's record in the 200 running 21.7. He is a little on the short side at 5-8/-5-9 but makes up for it with ball skills, awareness, athleticism and straight up football skills. He is such a good athlete he has offers in three sports baseball, track and football!
I dont grade guys based on stars or scores, I rate them on whether they can play!
