Rochester/Buffalo Combine Kicks Off!

The National Underclassmen Combine ventures to the Rochester/Buffalo area for the first time this Saturday at Bishop Kearny HS, where talented 8-11th graders looking to play at the next level will have the opportunity to show what they have to offer.
Those attending the combine will partake in pro-style combine testing, including the 40-yard  dash, broad jump, bench press, vertical leap, and shuttle run along with position specific drills, 1 on 1’s and 3 on 3 competitions. In addition to the elite athletes receiving coverage on Rivals and Espn.com, statistics of every participant will be sent out to colleges at all three levels.
8-10th graders will have their opportunity to shine 8 am this Saturday, while rising seniors hit the field at1 pm that very same day.

"Football is a pastime to many in the Rochester/Buffalo area", said David Schuman, NUC CEO & President. "The sport's popularity is tremendous at all levels and the fans' support of the Bills even when they are bad is an attribution to this.
One of the area's best, Quentin Gause, is expected to participate. Gause, a talented 6'0 205 lb athlete, starred at a number of NUC events in the past and subsequently received offers from numerous D1 programs.
"The chances of finding more standout athletes becomes higher every time we add an event since not everybody is willing to travel", said Schuman. "Of the new 2010 events, the Rochester/Buffalo event is likely to generate the most participants."
Athletes can sign up for the Rochester/Buffalo combine on www.nationalunderclassmen.com or call 1-888-NUC-MVP1 for more details.
