David Schuman is widely regarded as one of the top evaluators of football players in the USA. His National Underclassmen Combines have become the largest combine tour system in the world for football. With over 88 regional events, 5 u100 invite only camps, the NUC Top Prospect Camp and now the NUC All World Gridiron Classic.

Coach Schuman has built the events from 1 event in New Jersey in 2005 to over 100 events in 2011. Great top athletes in the past include current Cleveland Browns DB Joe Haden, Virginia Tech All ACC QB Tyrod Taylor, Frosh All American for South Carolina Marcus Lattimore,  Georgia QB Aaron Murray, All ACC QB Danny Obrien, Top WR for USC as a Frosh Robert Woods and much much more.

With over 3000 D-1 athletes that have been a part of the program, over 350 All Americans, and over 10,000 athletes that have gone on to play collegiate football, the NUC has helped more athletes than any other program in the world.

Coach Schuman has also been the head football coach of Palisades Park Leonia, Saddle Brook and coordinators on State Championship River Dell and Saddle Brook's State Playoff teams.  He has also been an assistant on Saddle Brook's 5 state championship teams and personally coached 7 state champions in the sprints and jumps.

David , as the owner of Schuman's Elite Training had produced top combine athletes at all levels Pro, Collegiate and HS and had trained over 3000 athletes in speed, quickness and agility, before selling the training aspect of his organization in 2010.  His best selling combine prep manual and video Schuman's All American Combine Techniques is to this day one of the most sought after combine prep videos.

David started the company Schuman Enterprises, LLC with the premise to help athletes reach their dreams and most importantly helping them use their athletic ability to help them get a college degree. David received his MBA from the University of Connecticut as well as his bachelor's in Finance from the prestigious UCONN Business School. In addition, his 30 credits in Physical Education at Columbia University helped round out his experience academically.  Having started out in business working for Information Technology companies and reaching Senior Vice President at Channell Communications at the young age of 26, David is one of the most experienced business individual, that chose to take his business talents and apply it to the sport he loves and give back to the athletes by forming Schuman Enterprises LLC in 2003 and eventually forming the National Underclassmen Combines. Starting from humble beginnings at Schuman's Speed Center to today with a multitude of programs for football, David has transformed the football industry for high school football recruiting.

As an athlete, David played football at the University of Connecticut where he has a starting linebacker and second leading tackler his Senior Year under Skip Holtz. In his football career he earned three letters, was named Student Athlete of the Year, Give the Kendall Madison Award for The Player was the best on the field and in the classroom and overcame the most obstacle to get there; he was a pre-season All Academic Conference Player and in addition to starting at Linebacker as a Freshman Dave also started at Fullback and lead the team in yards per carry that year.

In High School, David was an honor student who received 12 varsity letters, was named 2nd team all state in football and 1st team All American by Bigger Faster Stronger Magazine in 1992. He held school records in All Purpose Yards with over 4000. As a track athlete he set the school record in the 110 HH at 14.4 and still holds the Bergen County Small School High Hurdle Record. He was All County in Track and offered scholarships in both track and football. He was state indoor HH champ in 1991 and placed in four events at the state championship in 1992 in the Long Jump, High Hurdles, Intermediate Hurdles and 4X400 Relay.
