NUC Returns to Baltimore this weekend!

NUC Returns to Baltimore this weekend!
Good Counsel HS is set to host their second straight NUC event this weekend at their spectacular turf facility, where a gargantuan group of 8-11th graders are set to compete for a spot in the Ultimate 100 Camp.
Baltimore is amongst the top camps in the entire East Coast, so competition is steep to say the least.
"If the kids aren't bringing their A game to this camp, they are going to have all kinds of difficulty", said NUC CEO & President David Schuman. "Baltimore's camp drives in athletes from Pennsylvania, Maryland, DC and even New Jersey, so with excellent players from four states, the talent is exceptional."
Just one year ago, D1 bound players such as Rashaan Moore (Maryland), Williams Robinson (UNC A&T), Charles Brown (SC State) and Trevon Butler (Old Dominion) among others made an everlasting impression at the combine prior to signing their LOI's.
"If we factored the underclassmen, it isn't out of the picture to say that we will have 30 plus D1 athletes from Baltimore's 09' combine alone", stated Schuman.
Current 8th/9th graders are slated to compete at 8 am and sophomores are scheduled to hit the field at 1 pm on Saturday, while juniors go for glory this Sunday at 1 pm.
All athletes will partake in pro-style combine testing, including the 40-yard  dash, broad jump, bench press, vertical leap, and shuttle run along with position specific drills, 1 on 1’s and 3 on 3 competitions. In addition to the elite athletes receiving coverage on Rivals and Espn.com, statistics of every participant will be sent out to colleges at all three levels.
With football's rapid rise in popularity nationwide, the competition is only going to be tougher. The coaches will closely evaluate the 600+ athletes expected to attend and work them to the max. The only question is; will you be ready for the NUC?
Athletes can sign up for the Baltimore combine on www.nationalunderclassmen.com or call 1-888-NUC-MVP1 for more details.
