Austin Smitherman Morgan Academy, AL 11th QB #21 | Smitherman took home the QB MVP after an impressive showing at the combine. Smitherman's 8'8 broad jump, 4.58 shuttle, 4.66 40 and ability to put the ball in the right place made him the man amongst QB's. | |
Trey Fethner Woodland HS, AL 11th QB #62 | Fethner, 5'11.5 191 shared the QB MVP award with Smitherman. Like the athlete he won the award with, Fetner had good athleticism, threw a good ball and displayed a powerful arm. | |
Emmanuel Cooper Spain Park HS, AL 11th DL #94 | Cooper was the man of the hour after winning the DL MVP and Leadership awards. At 6'2.5 240, Cooper had an 8'2 broad jump, ran a 4.62 shuttle, outstanding hands and a great first step. He also works hard and leads by example. | |
TJ Worthy Gadsen City HS, AL 11th WR #39 | Worthy, 6'1 173, was exactly that when he won the WR MVP. Worthy ran a 4.20 shuttle, has excellent hands and brutalized the DB's up during the 1 on 1's. | |
Eri Halley Sparkman HS, AL 11th CB #13 | Halley, 5'7 159, was the DB MVP. Halley had an 8'7 broad jump, ran a 4.25 shuttle and did a good job of neutralizing the offense during the 1 on 1's. | |
Darzil Washington West St. John HS, AL 11th LB #60 | Washington won the LB MVP award. Big and powerful at 6'2.5 226, Washington had a 30 inch vertical, 8'2 broad jump, ran a 4.24 shuttle and did an all around good job in 1 on 1's. | |
