Landon Collins Dutchtown HS, LA 10th S #21 | Collins, 5'11.5 199, took home the Overall MVP Combine King and Fastest Man awards after a day for the ages. Collins had an NBA slam dunk champion like 35.5 inch vertcal, 10'6 broad jump, ran a 4.48 shuttle, bench pressed 155 lbs 24 times and was a monster during 1 on 1's. He was physical, smart, quick, moved well and had tremendous ball skills. Collins can really do it all! we expect to see him star at the level and beyond. |
Jalen Richard Peabody Magnet HS, LA 10th RB #23 | Richard, 5'7.5 190 won the RB MVP. A tremendous athlete, Richard had a 33.5 inch vertical, 9'0 broad jump, ran a 4.58 shuttle, 4.54 40, bench pressed 155 lbs 23 times and starred during 1 on 1's. His quick feet, good hands and ability to change direction left our coaches highly impressed. |
Damian Semien Lutcher HS, LA 10th WR #36 | Semien, 5'7 166, came up with the WR MVP and Leadership award following an admirable performance. Semien had a 28.5 inch vertical, hustled nonstop, running all over the field and did a great job of getting open during 1 on 1's. His route running and hands make him an easy target to find. |
Daniel Taylor Lutcher HS, LA 10th RB #32 | Taylor, 5'7 161, won the RB MVP. Taylor had a 33.5 inch vertical, 9'0 broad jump, ran a 4.59 in both the shuttle and 40, while showing great feet, hands and quickness during 1 on 1's. |
Ian Podwtalski Lutcher HS, LA 10th CB #3 | Podwtalski added the DB MVP to his trophy case with a sound all around effort. At 5'6 136, Podwtalski had a 32 inch vertical, 8'11 broad jump and ran a blazing 4.19 shuttle. During 1 on 1's. He displayed great ball skills, toughness and the ability to close the gap quickly. This kid has everything a coach could possibly want from a DB standpoint. |
Kyron Jackson Lutcher HS, LA 10th S #4 | Jackson, yet another stud from Lutcher HS, shared the DB MVP award with Podwtalski. The 5'8.5 175 lb Jackson had a 31 inch vertical, 8'6 broad jump and did a great job during 1 on 1's. His toughness, closing speed, ball skills and ability to change direction on a dime make him a major threat to the offense. |
Devon Breaux Donaldsonville HS, LA 10th WR #59 | Brueaux, 5'11 162, was the WR MVP. Breaux had a 30 inch vertical, 9'0 broad jump, was a terrific athlete, got off the line quickly ran nice routes and had soft hands. He is a major problem for DB's during 1 on 1's. |
Holden Rogers Sulphur HS, LA 10th LB #7 | Rogers, 5'9 192, took home the LB MVP. Rogers played with fire and desire throughout the combine, jumping an 8'5 on the broad, running a 4.59 shuttle, 4.65 40 and doing 28 reps at 155 lbs on the bench press. Rogers also was Holden' it down during 1 on 1's, using good technique and a fine understanding of the game to star. |
Dshaie Landor Teurlings Catholic HS, LA 10th QB #29 | Landor, 5'10.5 155, won the QB MVP. Landor had an 8'7 broad jump, ran a 4.47 shuttle and made sure his passes landed in his WR's hands. His decision making was also quite impressive. |
Justin Woods Banbe HS, LA 10th OL #93 | A massive 5'9 260 lber, Woods won the DL MVP. Woods was explosive, had great leverage, good body control and competed at a high level during 1 on 1's. |
Jordy Wyble Beau Chene HS, LA 10th OL #87 | Wyble, 5'10 283, nabbed the OL MVP.. Wyble was a monster in 1 on 1's, had great hands, sneaky quickness and played with a fire throughout the day. |
Aaron Davis Dutchtown HS, LA 10th DL #95 | Aaron "Superman" Davis won the Strongest Man award for the second consecutive. A herculean 5'6.5 284 lb DL, Davis bench pressed 185 lbs 28 times and did a nice job during 1 on 1's |
