Players to go for Glory in Stockton/Sacramento!

Rio Linda HS is the place to be this Sunday for all 8th-11th graders looking to take their game to the next level when the National Underclassmen Combine makes their triumphant return to the same area that produced a number of standouts just one year ago.
Setting the tone for 2010 were standouts and potential D1 bound prospects such as Overall MVP Karmah Yates, WR MVP Mustaffa Vercher and DB MVP Ikem Okwudiafor amongst others. The treturous trio dominated throughout the day, creating a major buzz at the very same event where some of the area's best are set to take flight Sunday.
"The Stockton/Sacramento combine has brought us kids from many different areas in California", said NUC CEO & President David Schuman. "We expect a nice turn out on Sunday and hope to showcase some of California's best."
Current 8th-10th graders have their chance to shine at 8 am while juniors get to compete 1 pm Sunday.
All athletes will partake in pro-style combine testing, including the 40-yard  dash, broad jump, bench press, vertical leap, and shuttle run along with position specific drills, 1 on 1’s and 3 on 3 competitions. In addition to the elite athletes receiving coverage on Rivals and Espn.com, statistics of every participant will be sent out to colleges at all three levels.
Athletes can sign up for the Sacramento combine on www.nationalunderclassmen.com or call 1-888-NUC-MVP1 for more details.
