Interview With NUC Little Rock Combine Standout Cody Robinson


Coach Schuman: What did you do to prepare for the National Underclassmen Combine?
Cody Robinson: I trained in our school weight room jumping boxes, getting many reps on bench press, and running alot.


Coach Schuman: Have you been to the NUC before? How did you do? What were your expectations going into this years event?
Cody Robinson: Yes sir. I did decent. My expectations was to be notice not as just another athlete in the drills but to be noticed as a standout among everyone.


Coach Schuman: You were MVP! What are your goals now?
Alexander Lyons: To constantly improve my skills and strive to become the best athlete of the combine.

Coach Schuman: How did you hear about the National Underclassmen Combine and what was your favorite part about the event?
Cody Robinson: I heard about it through my coach and my favorite part were the one on one drills. I really enjoyed them.


Coach Schuman: If you can choose 5 schools where you would be interested in playing what would they be?
Cody Robinson: University of Arkansas, University of Texas, University of Florida, Auburn, and University of Alabama

Coach Schuman: What do you like about high school football? What are your goals for your team and yourself?
Cody Robinson: What i enjoy most about high school football is being able to play with my friends throughout all these years. My goal is to be the best i can for my team and win a state championship.


Coach Schuman: Do you play other sports? Tell me about your accomplishments?
Cody Robinson: I play basketball, baseball, and track. I have gotten all-state in track, all-state in baseball, and all-conference in basketball. I have been named mvp of the usssa state baseball tournament in 2007.


Coach Schuman: What is your favorite thing about football? What makes it a great sport to you?
Cody Robinson: What I enjoy most about football is the passion. The fans your teamates and just the action it brings makes it worth while.


Coach Schuman: Tell me about your training regimen...How do you get better every day?
Cody Robinson: Our coach has us on a weight program but he lets me in on my own alot and i try to do different excercises to get better. I lift three times a week and run alot.


Coach Schuman: What are you looking for in a college? Academically? football?
Cody Robinson: Somewhere that i feel comfortable and i want to major in communications.I want to go to a school with a good academic and football program.
