Notes: Coach Gartrell has overseen the Jaguar football program since its inception in 1996. In that time Stephenson has gone (138-50) winning seven region titles. No high school in the state has put out more DI players than Stephenson over the past five years. They have had over 30 kids sign FBS football scholarships since 2008. They also have the most players currently in the NFL from the state of Georgia.

Notes: Coach Godfrey has been at the helm of SW DeKalb Football since 1983. In that time he was gone (269-86-1) winning 16 Region Titles, and two State Championships. This will be the ninth meeting between the two DeKalb County Schools. The Panthers hold a (5-3) edge in the series with the last three meetings being decided by a total of ten points.
