-DE Luca Bruno from Oaks Park HS, California is a powerful and versatile defensive lineman who could line up at either end or tackle in college and his recruitment is going real well for him at this time with several upcoming visits on the horizon. Bruno has received four official offers up to this point from Arizona, Fresno St, Oregon St and San Diego St with more possibly coming. He is taking an unofficial visit on Thursday to see the USC Trojans. Bruno is excited for his trip as it will be his second time on campus. He holds USC in high favor and would be excited if he was able to receive an offer from them. Bruno is coming up on his Spring Break and he plans to hit the road to see multiple college campuses during his off time. He plans to see Arizona, Arizona St, Boise St, Idaho and Oregon St. He says the Sun Devils and the Vandals could be the next school to officially extend an offer. Bruno is still open to all but claims to have a top three group of schools in USC, Oregon St and San Diego St.
-TE/DE Griffith Gates out of Foothill HS, California is in the process of taking a look at the schools who are recruiting him the most and planning out visits to see these schools in person. Right now Gates has it set to visit UCLA on April 10th and he is also set to camp at the University of Colorado on the 14th. He says that UCLA and Northwestern have been in recent contact and made him feel like he is a top priority for their recruiting classes. No offers yet, Gates is currently being recruited by the likes of UCLA, Northwestern, Colorado, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Washington and Oregon St. He may not have an offer as of yet but currently has a top four group of schools in UCLA, Washington, Stanford and Northwestern. Gates plans to take his time and does not have a time frame on making any decisions.
-S Patrick Bookman (Bishop Watterson HS, OH) is a physical and athletic defensive back who is still waiting for that first offer to arrive and he feels he could be on the verge of seeing that offer come through. Bookman says that the Auburn Tigers is a school that has increased their interest in him and is now staying in more contact. He says they are interested in his toughness and intelligence on defense and someone they could see as a future captain. Bookman is taking two unofficial visits within the next two weeks when he plans to see Purdue this Friday and then next week he plans to see Northwestern University. He also has a visit set up with Northern Illinois on April 21st. Bookman is unsure as to who will come through with that first offer but he is staying patient and trying to see as many college campuses he can this offseason.
-OL Jacob Homa (Brookfield Sr HS, WI) is fast rising offensive lineman who is beginning to see interest from D1 football programs come hot and heavy hear recently where he was able to pick up official offers from Iowa St and Wyoming and he could be very close to receiving more. Homa is a versatile lineman who could line up either at tackle or play inside at guard. Most schools are recruiting him to play guard and schools like Wisconsin, Minnesota, Purdue, Vanderbilt and Western Michigan have increased their attention in Homa and are currently evaluating his tape to see about extending an offer. Homa has been able to take a few visits to schools like Minnesota, Purdue, Minnesota and Western Michigan and he would like to hit the road and take a look at the rest of the schools currently recruiting him. Homa has good potential and could easily see his offer sheet double up at some point in the next few months.
-Kaleb Germinaro from Phoenix, Arizona (Desert Vista HS) is a multi- talented offensive specialist who could line up at either wide receiver or running back in college and thus far he has received good feedback from some high level football programs who seem interested in his talents. Germinaro is being recruited by the likes of Georgia Tech, Duke, Utah, San Diego St, Stanford, Washington St, Colorado, UCLA and Princeton. He has been able to visits to Georgia Tech, Stanford and San Diego St with Germinaro saying the Aztecs is the school currently recruiting him the hardest. He has stayed in consistent contact with San Diego St and he feels they could be the first school to offer. Germinaro wants to hit college camps this offseason in hopes of earning official offers. He has two camps set up already with San Diego St and Utah but he would like to attend as many as he needs to. Germinaro is an under the radar prospect who could be a steal for whoever eventually receives his commitment.
-TE/DE DeMarcus Glover (Pine Forest HS, FL) is a major athlete who has outstanding potential on both sides of the ball and he is starting to see his talents become noticed by some high level football programs. Glover has no offers as of yet but is receiving strong interest from the likes of Tennessee, Miami FL, Florida International, UCF, South Florida and Temple. Glover says that Tennessee seems real intrigued by his talents on either side of the ball. He is set to visit Tennessee for their spring game and he feels an offer could be waiting for him there. Tennessee's spring game is the only thing Glover has set now with any colleges but next week he plans to be in Atlanta for the NUC South 5 Star Showcase and he is looking to make a statement while in attendance. Glover has the size (6'4 215lbs) and the talents to play on the D1 football playing fields and his recruitment should be a good one to follow throughout the upcoming football season.
-DE/LB Acesa Brewer from Springfield, Tennessee (Springfield HS) is an under the radar prospect who is hoping to gain more interest and offers as he camps at several college campuses this spring and summer as well as competing at the NUC South 5 Star Showcase in Atlanta on April 14th. Brewer currently plays defensive end for his high school team but translates to linebacker at the collegiate football level. Brewer has excellent speed and athleticism that has led to interest from schools like Mississippi St, Memphis, Arkansas St, Middle Tennessee St, UAB and Western Kentucky. He has yet to receive an official offer but is hoping that attending camps this summer will lead to offers and more interest from bigger schools. Brewer recently visited Mississippi St and is soon to take an unofficial visit to both Memphis and MTSU. Brewer is banking on a big offseason that could lead him into playing D1 college football.
