Strengths: Anderson is an underrated prospect that will surprise everyone when he eventually makes his way into college football because he carries those certain qualities about playing the quarterback position needed that doesn't show up during tests or drills. Anderson is a cerebral and highly intelligent passer that knows everything there is to know about running an offense and picking apart the defense with his precision passing. He is accurate as accurate can be. Anderson takes pride in being able to place the ball exactly where the receiver needs it so he can make plays after the catch. Anderson understands reading defenses. He knows how to read several different coverage's that a defense can throw at him and continue to lead an offense through any situation. Anderson has a strong arm that has enough heat on the pass to make all the throws asked of a collegiate quarterback. He has grown up loving football and has been learning about the game of football for a long time now. Anderson is a big time leader who loves being around his teammates and is always willing to do anything it takes to see his succeed. He knows how to forget about either a bad pass or a mistake and move on to the next play. Anderson has that certain moxy you want in a quarterback. Anderson is a high character person both on and off the field.
Weaknesses: Anderson certainly has a lot of good qualities to like about his game but even he agrees the he has more to learn about playing quarterback at the collegiate level. He needs to first work on his footwork and being able to get into his drop as quick as he can. Anderson is mobile and can run but has to continue to work on placing his feet in the correct position to make the pass. Anderson plays on a low level of high school football in Florida and it could hinder him in the eyes of some people but personally I think that shouldn't be a problem. He also needs to continue to gain more weight and strength in the weight so he can be prepared to take the beating he could take in college football.
Overview: Anderson has already received an official offer from Illinois State University and he recently won the QB MVP award at the NUC 5 Star Showcase in Orlando, Florida a few weeks ago. He is a fast rising signal caller who is beginning to hear from more coaches from BCS level programs who seem to be interested in his talents. Anderson is currently in the state of North Carolina taking unofficial visits to Duke, North Carolina and North Carolina State. He is also planning to visit Boston College as well sometime in the next month. Anderson is beginning to receive big time interest and he is sure to see offers come through at some point in time. He has all the non-physical skills you want in a quarterback and surely soon enough everyone in the recruiting scene is soon to see that and Anderson could eventually find himself signing with a school that plays on the biggest stage possible in college football.
