There were some interesting performances this weekend at the NFL Combine and it shows some amazing things that all athletes can learn. It also shows that preparation is key, and that stepping your game up when needed was critical!

Most Impressive:

Andre Luck and RGIII may not have thrown but their 40 yard dashes shows that these top 2 picks are worthy of every dollar. RGIII cashed in on an official 4.41 40 and Andrew Luck shelled out a 4.59. Are you kidding me, these guys showed why they have begun to separate themselves from the pack.

Did he really do that?

Potential top 3 pick Matt Kalil of USC ran a 4.99 in the 40. This massive monster of a man truly defines being a dancing bear. He was equally impressive in the drills and only Stanford's Dave Decastro can hold a candle to this guy.

I know he ran only a 4.98 in the 40, but wait, hold the presses, workout warrior Dontari Poe is 345 pounds. Yes, he also did 44 reps on the bench and a 29.5 inch vert and was great in the drills, do you smell the next Sam Adams? I do!

Do these guys want to be Pros?

Ok your anticipated to be one of the top TE's and you run a 4.89 and then struggle in the drills, who is this, well its unfortunately Dwayne Allen. Dwayne was anticipated to be a top TE pick, but with his subpar performance and inability to get himself in shape Dwayne will certainly drop.

Vontaze Burfict has off the field issues blast a slow 5.09 and looks out of shape, enough said, please Vontaze get in shape for your pro day or else you are on your way to a very very short pro career.

Guys I like, that you didn't know about

I am just gonna list them because they impressed me:

Bruce Irvin-DE WVU 4.50 40 flyin!

Ruben Randle-WR LSU 4.55 40, great in the drills!

Morris Claiborne-DB LSU 4.47 40, smooth athlete

Chris Owusu-4.37 40 out of Stanford, competitor

Dave Decastro-OG out of Stanford, fantastic in Drills

Melvin Ingram-DE/OLB 4.7 and change in 40, South Carolina product that should move up

Quinton Coples-DE, he is too legit to quit, 4.7 40 30+ inches in vert, excellent in drills
