MISSISSIPPI STATE RANKINGS

The National Underclassmen is proud to present their first ever Magnolia state rankings. Below is the initial Mississippi Top 10 which will be expanded on as the year goes on. Mississippi currently has one player ranked in the first edition of the Ultimate 100, and also has two prospects ranked in the initial Southeast 60. Chris Smith, NUC recruiting writer, has evaluated the talent for the state of Mississippi and found the top prospects for the 2013 recruiting class and ranked them accordingly. Look for these rankings to be updated once the NUC Five-Star Academies are complete this spring.

*NUC Participant

1. Kalio Moore, RB, West Bolivar, MS Moore rushed for 1,470 yards & 19 Td's while leading his team towards a 2A Mississippi HS State Title.
2. Deon Mix, OL, South Panola, MS Mix helped his team average 244 yards rushing per game as a junior.
3. Jake Thomas, OL, Columbus, MS Thomas earned First Team All-State as well as First Team 6A All-District as a junior.
4. Antonio Connor, S, South Panola, MS Connor had a big junior year that led him to making First Team All-State & First Team 6A All-District as a junior.
5. Malik Mayweather, WR, Olive Branch, MS Mayweather guided his team to the 2A Mississippi State Title.
6. Davion Johnson OL Byhalia, MS Johnson helped his team rush for an average of 363 yards per game as a junior.
7. Ryan Buchanan*, QB, Jackson Prep, MS Buchanan accumulated 1,326 yards passing and 14 Td's while also rushing for 508 yards and one score.
8. Ashton Shumpert, ATH, Tupelo, MS Shumpert ran the ball for 929 yards and nine scores during his junior season.
9. Benny McCall, LB, Lake Cormorant, MS McCall produced 64 tackles, 1 sack, 3 Int's and 2 forced fumbles for his junior season.
10. Dylan Bradley*, DL, Noxubee County, MS Bradley had a big junior year where he produced 88 tackles, 9 sacks and 2 fumble recoveries.

ALABAMA STATE RANKINGS

The National Underclassmen is proud to present their first ever Yellowhammer state rankings. Below is the initial Alabama Top15 which will be expanded on as the year goes on. Alabama currently has three players ranked in the first edition of the Ultimate 100 and has four prospects ranked in the initial Southeast 60. Chris Smith, NUC recruiting writer, has evaluated the talent for the state of Alabama and found the top prospects for the 2013 recruiting class and ranked them accordingly. Look for these rankings to be updated once the NUC Five-Star Academies are complete this spring.

1. Rod Crayton, DL, Dadeville, AL Crayton earned 4A First Team All-State while recording 162 total tackles and 10 sacks.
2. O.J. Howard*, WR, Autauga Academy, AL Howard was named First Team ALSA All-State as a junior.
3. Dee Liner*, DL, Muscle Shoals, AL Liner was named 5A First Team ALL-State while leading his team to an 11-2 overall record.
4. Austin Golson, OL, Prattville, AL Golson was named 6A First Team All-State while helping his team earn a 6A Alabama HS State Championship.
5. DeAndre Woods, WR, Clay-Chalkville, AL Woods helped team to a Region 7 District title and a 10-0 regular season record.
6. Cameron Luper, ATH, Auburn HS, AL Luper led his team to a 9-2 record while collecting over 2,500 yards of total offense.
7. Earnest Robinson, WR, Pinson, AL Robinson earned 5A First Team All-State.
8. Cameron Toney, LB, Huntsville, AL Toney produced 120 tackles, 42 tackles for loss, 9 sacks and 3 Int's as a junior.
9. James Cox*, WR, Northridge, AL Cox had 658 yards receiving and seven Td's while leading his team to a playoff appearance.
10. Bradley Bozeman, OL, Handley, AL Bozeman earned 3A First Team All-State while helping his team earn a 3A Alabama HS State Championship.
11. Jeremy Johnson, QB, Carver, AL Johnson led team to the second round of the 6A Alabama State Playoffs.
12. Ar'Darius Stewart, ATH, Fultondale, AL Stewart earned Super 12 Alabama All-State and 2A First Team All-State.
13. Noah Armstrong, OL, Lawrence County, AL Armstrong helped his team rush for an average of 202 yards per game on the season.
14. Jordan Huff*, RB, St. Paul's Episcopal, AL In an injury shortened season Huff gained 969 yards rushing and 15 Td's in seven games.
15. Ulric Jones, DL, Oxford HS, AL Jones collected 76 total tackles, 9 sacks and 5 forced fumbles during his junior season.
