Mission Viejo High School in California sports an athletic and passionate offensive tackle who seems like he is real close to finishing his recruiting process and choosing his college destination. Colby Cyburt (6'5 265 lbs) has finally reached the point where he is ready to focus his attention on his college recruitment and find the place that best fits him, "My whole process has been hectic and it has been something that was more difficult than I could have imagined. I have cut down my list to a top 5 and those schools are UCLA, Stanford, Oregon State, Washington and Colorado. I believe those programs all have certain things about them that stand out to me and I think I could see myself playing at each place, said Cyburt."

Colby has seen several college football coaches come through and show him plenty of attention and make him feel like he is the most wanted player at his position, but his final list of schools have been the ones to make him feel the most wanted and show him that he is needed on their respected football teams, "I have felt wanted by so many schools out there that I am so grateful for the opportunities that are in front of me, and I plan to make the best decision that I can for me. I don't have any favorites right now among my top five. I plan to seriously look at each and every detail with each school and come up with the absolute best decision for me, said Cyburt."

After the New Year, Colby Cyburt plans to start his traveling process as he begings to start his official visits with all five of his finalists and start dwindling down the process towards making a college commitment. He is looking forward to seeing each campus and seeing what each college has to offer him for both academics and football. Colby wants to find somewhere that will both push him both academically and take him as far as he can go in his football career. He is mainly looking to stay on the West Coast so his family can see him play as much as they can.

Colby carries a GPA of 3.8 with the plan to major in Business while he is in college. He is bright young man with high character who he is looking for a stable, family orientented home that will take him a very long way in life, "The two main things I want in a college is academics and tradition. I know football won't last forever, so I want to be able to fall back on my degree to help me provide for my family and myself throughout our lives. I would also like to play for a program that believes in their football program and knows what it takes to win championships. I love the game of football and I want to be around people that feel the same way. I plan to give all five schools an equal shot and after I make all five official visits, I plan to sit down with my family and come up with the best possible decision for me, said the Mission Viejo High School lineman,"

Colby Cyburt is a tough as nails offensive lineman who plays with intensity and the demeanor to dominate his opponent at every moment he is on the field. Colby plays with an all out motor that goes from the start of the game all the way to the end. His tank never seems to run on empty, and he relishes in the moment when he is able to lay someone out on the ground, "I am a physical, hard nosed football player that enjoys playing in the trenches and going up against the best that the other team has to offer. I pride myself in being a team player and being able to have the god given abilities to be good at what I do and be able to give my teammates everything I have whenever we step onto the football field. I did not give up a sack during my senior year and I am very proud of myself for accomplishing that for my team. I bring great attitude and the desire to win, and I plan to bring this same mentality to the team I play with my college ball with, said Cyburt."
