Nick Severs Macomb HS, IL 9th OL #87 | Severs, 6'3 221, won the Overall MVP award. Severs separated himself from the competition, dominating the opposing linemen during the 1 on 1's. Severs had great feet, learns quick, is coachable and bench pressed 155 lbs 25 times. |
Zach Long Sioux Falls HS, SD 9th RB #123 | Long, 5'8 185, earned the Combine King and RB MVP awards. Long had a 30.5 inch vertical, ran a 4.48 shuttle, bench pressed 135 lbs 25 times. was light on his feet, ran nice routes and had good hands. |
Kenny Floyd Norwalk HS, IA 9th RB #86 | Floyd shared the RB MVP award with Long. At 5'11 173, Floyd had an 8'3 broad jump, bench pressed 135 lbs 17 times, had great feet, a terrific work ethic and nice all around skills. |
Drake Kulick Muscatine HS, IA LB #10 | Kulick, 6'0.5 170, won the LB MVP. With a 28 inch vertical, 9'4 broad jump, great coverage ability, a physical style, quick reaction time and in bench pressing 135 lbs 22 times, Kulick was atop the charts amongst the linebackers. |
Kyle Starcevich Southeast Polk HS, IA 9th QB #3 | Starcevich, 6'2 185, won the QB MVP and Leadership awards. The gifted but humble prospect has a strong arm, great touch on his passes, moves well, has good feet and works his tail off. Starcevich looks like a star in the making. |
Jason Wright Holton HS, KS 9th CB #1 | Jason got it right, taking home the DB MVP. At 5'10 148, Wright had a 33 inch vertical, 8'2.5 broad jump and is a good all around player with a physical style. |
Bryce Sheard Papillion-LaVista HS, NE 9th WR #130 | Sheard, 6'1 168, came up with the WR MVP following a solid all around performance. Sheard had an 8'4 broad jump, ran a 4.54 shuttle, displayed terrific hands, ran nice routes and made some impressive grabs. |
Matthew Vanderberg Brandon Valley HS, SD 9th WR #82 | Vandeberg was in the zone during the combine, earning himself the WR MVP and Fastest Man awards. The 5'11.5 151 lb Vandeberg ran a 4.53 shuttle, 4.70 40, had an 8'7 broad jump, 29.5 inch vertical, made a number of solid grabs, was quick off the line and ran nice routes. |
Hayden Wertz Bradford HS, WI 9th DL #11 | Wertz won the DL MVP honors. The 5'11 202 lb Wertz looks to be worth the price of admission, bench pressing 135 lbs 20 times, battling with the o-linemen during the 1 on 1's, making good adjustments and listening to the coaches. |
Garrett Lynch West Branch 9th LB #12 | Lynch won the Strongest Man award. The 5'8 196 lb Lynch bench pressed 135 lbs 28 times. |
Logan Radloff North Fayette HS, IA 9th DL #5 | Radloff, 5'8 213, was the co-strongest man, also bench pressing 135 lbs 28 times. |
