Dallas Beat the Heat Combine: A Second Opportunity for First Class Athletes to Showcase their talent!

With demands at an all time high, the National Underclassmen Combine returns to the Dallas area for a second time in 2010. Many athletes who competed just two months ago in this very same city are expected to return, as the opportunity to improve on a prior performance is simply too good to refuse. Numerous first timers are also on tap to take the gridiron by storm this weekend at John Paul High School.
"Any time there is enough of a demand and a large enough talent pool to run two events its great", explained NUC CEO & President David Schuman. "Dallas has been one of our trademark events since we have been running the combines.  A second combine will help us discover many new prospects and reevaluate a number of other ones."
As a special "Beat The Heat" event, the 8th/9th graders will compete at 6 pm Friday,  sophomores 8 am Sunday May 2 followed by juniors 1 pm on that very same day.
All athletes will partake in pro-style combine testing, including the 40-yard  dash, broad jump, bench press, vertical leap, and shuttle run along with position specific drills, 1 on 1’s and 3 on 3 competitions. In addition to the elite athletes receiving coverage on Rivals and Espn.com, statistics of every participant will be sent out to colleges at all three levels.
Athletes can sign up for the Dallas "Beat the Heat" combine on www.nationalunderclassmen.com or call 1-888-NUC-MVP1 for more details.
