Charlotte Freshman Session Standouts!

·        Princeton Middle School’s Tahj Sho-Johnson put on quite a show last Saturday afternoon at Robert L. Patton HS en route to claiming the 8th grade MVP. The 5’6 145 lb running back was amongst the top 8th graders that we have ever seen. He has a 32.5 inch vertical, 8’10 broad jump, runs a 4.61 shuttle, 4.58 40, bench pressed 135 lbs 19 times and starred during the 1 on 1’s. There isn’t much to complain about here and we are eager to see how he develops over time.

·        Ryan Switzer, 5’9 160, (George Washington) was the best all around freshman, taking home the Freshman MVP. He has terrific skills as a running back, runs a 4.10 shuttle (which is truly unbelievable for a frosh) and bench pressed 135 lbs 26 times.

·        East Meek’s David Moore was all the above from an athletic standpoint. At 5’8. 150, Moore had a 30.5 inch vertical, 9’4 broad jump, ran a 4.31 shuttle, 4.54 40 and did a tremendous job during 1 on 1’s en route to pulling out the trifecta. He impressively brought home the DB MVP, Combine King and Fastest Man awards.

·        Dakota Hopper (McMichael and Thomas Cober (Episcopal) shared the QB MVP Honors. Both rising sophomores had good height, quick feet and threw a terrific ball.
