Sensational South Carolinians to showcase their talents in Columbia!

The National Underclassmen Combine returns to Irmo's Dutch Fork HS March 27-28 for what is expected to be a deeply talented weekend. Preceding combines in the Columbia region have set the bar high, but as Nike says; impossible is nothing. Between new participants and projected returning athletes, NUC CEO and President David Schuman expects to see a number of top notch rising stars on full display.

"South Carolina has a rich football history and the people down here really love the game", stated Schuman. "The prospectus of finding a future D1 standout in the Palmetto State always looks good to me, especially considering the kind of players we have seen in the past."

East Carolina bound Taylor Hudson and rated recruit Antonio Hughes topped the junior session by each performing impressively on the football field. Hughes was a very good athlete and a shut down corner, while Hudson, a 6'5 290 lb monster, manned down the OL.

Notable underclassmen included Sophomore DL MVP Gary Coates and D1 prospect Isaac Harris (both of Dutch Fork HS). Fellow D1 prospect Kaleb Griffin, a dual threat QB, also displayed an array of skills in 09.

"This is definitely one of the best sleeper camps we run", Schuman

Current 8th/9th graders are slated to compete at 8 am and sophomores are scheduled to hit the field at pm on Saturday, while juniors take center stage 1 pm this Sunday, March 28.

All athletes will partake in pro-style combine testing, including the 40-yard dash, broad jump, bench press, vertical leap, and shuttle run along with position specific drills, 1 on 1’s and 3 on 3 competitions.

Athletes can sign up for the Columbia combine on www.nationalunderclassmen.com or call 1-888-NUC-MVP1 for more details.
