At 5'8 162, Boyd was crowned Combine King and won the Fastest Man award following a sensational day on the football field. Boyd had a 32.5 inch vertical, 9'3 broad jump, ran a 4.48 shtutle, 4.56 40 and used his speed to power him during 1 on 1's. |
Taylor LaGrace Arcadia HS, CA 10t WR #60 | LaGrace, 6'0.5 180, won the WR MVP. LaGrace gracefully ran a 4.33 shuttle, had an 8'7 broad jump, had great hands, ran terrific routes and displayed terrific body control during 1 on 1's. For lack of a better words, Taylor was graced with a ton of ability. |
Bryan Harper Carter HS, CA 10th WR #68 | Harper was the co-WR MVP. Harper, a sensationally athletic 5'10 152 lber, had a 9'10 broad jump, ran a 4.61 shuttle, 4.59 40 and starred in 1 on 1's. He is a great leader, has a bundle of energy, ran nice routes and has good hands. Harper has a lot of tools. |
Joseph Prohoroff Glen A. Wilson HS, CA 10th OL #83 | Prohoff, 5'11 247, was the Strongest Man award winner. Prohoff has big time strength, bench pressing 185 lbs 20 times . |
Aaron Leauma Mission Hills HS, CA 10th DL #10 | A massive 5'10 271 lbs, Leauma won the DL MVP. Leauma had quick hands and feed, good technique and a strong push during 1 on 1's. |
Colby Weist L.B. Wilson HS, CA 10th OL #94 | Weist took home the OL MVP. At 5'11 253, Weist was both strong and aggressive during 1 on 1's, displaying the ability to be effective at lineman on both sides of the ball. |
Shannon Edwards Ridgeview HS, CA 10th CB #20 | Edwards, 5'9 160, won the DB MVP. Edwards had a 31 inch vertical, 9'2 broad jump, ran a 4.62 shuttle and really put a hurting on the offense during 1 on 1's. His ability to stay on top of the WR's factored with his speed and physical presence were simply too much to overlook. |
Travonta Herod St. Francis HS, CA 10th RB #70 | Herod, 5'5 138, was the RB MVP. Herod headed the RB's by showcasing his good hands, solid speed, nicely ran routes and sound footwork. Herod has a lot to offer a team. |
Tyler Ferguson Ridgeview HS, CA 10th QB #66 | Ferguson brought home the QB MVP. The 6'2.5 169 lb Ferguson threw a good ball, was accurate, had a nice drop step and had an uncanny ability to throw the ball at the right time. |
Chandler Scott Etiwanda HS, CA 10th LB #54 | Scott, 6'0.5 220, won the Overall MVP. Scott ran a 4.50 shuttle and was an absolute monster during 1 on 1's. He was a terrific playmaker with good instincts, impressive toughness, soft hands and the ability to break on the ball fast. Scott is definitely a future D1 player. |
