NUC Jacksonville- Sophomores show Solid Potential in Jacksonville-National Underclassmen Combine

Sophomores show Solid Potential in Jacksonville!

Justin Osborne (First Coast HS) topped a strong sophomore combine last Saturday at Raines HS. Osborne, a quick slot receiver, won the Overall MVP after jumping an 8'5 on the broad , running a 4.40 40 and wowing our coaches during 1 on 1's. Osborne, 5'8.5 143, more than compensates for his lack of size in pure talent, as he has Cris Carter type hands and runs routes near perfectly. Osborne is an exciting young player that can help any team.

Tony "King of the South" Clark (Coffee HS) was the best all around athlete at the camp. Clark, 5'11.5 189 had a 35.5 inch vertical, 9'0 broad jump, ran a 4.46 shuttle, 4.50 40 and motored around the field during 1 on 1's. Clark, who also won the Fastest Man, is a pure athlete with a lot to offer.

Marquis Holmes (Trinity Catholic) was a lock down linebacker with a mean streak to boot. Holmes, 5'11 203, won the Leadership award by showing there was zero quit in him, which inspired the rest of the players at the combine.

From the long ball to a short screen pass, Perry Orth (Episcopal) was the top dawg at the QB. The 6'1 186 lb Orth had good poise, quick feet (running a 4.58 shuttle) and consistently made good choices with the football.
Jacksonville remains a terrifically talented Southern Region
