NUC Jacksonville-Ja'Vakiel Bigham Tops Jacksonville Freshman Session

Ja'Vakiel Bigham Tops Jacksonville Freshman Session

Brigham MS's Ja'Vakiel Brown is 14 years old and a six months away from high school, but his incredible talents make him a guaranteed big man on campus. Brown, 5'9.5 169, proved that impossible is nothing (thank you Nike) by having a 10 foot broad jump and running a 4.41 shuttle. For the record, many of the junior Combine Kings fall short in both categories. Brown's athleticism for an 8th grader is off the charts and is guaranteed to get national attention once he steps up to the high school level.

Ulysses "The General" Bryant (Lee HS) was the man at RB. The 5'5.5 157 lb Bryant had terrific speed, a great push, good body control and bench pressed 135 lbs 21 times. Bryant is like a pit bull in the sense that he will fight until he is completely down and out.

JJ "Show Me The Money" Green (Camden County) created plenty of difficulties for the offense during the individual period en route to grabbing the DB MVP much like he did the QB's passes. The 5'7.5 157 Green could jump with the best of em (8'10 broad jump) had good quickness (4.51 shuttle) and bench pressed 135 lbs 22 times. Green had great recovery skills, a physical style and solid all around ability. This is what you call a prime time player.

Even though Jacksonville's freshman session didn't have Maurice Jones-Drew participating there sure as heck were plenty of Jaguars tearing up the field.
