NUC Jacksonville-JACKSONVILLE FL 9TH grade NUC Schuman’s Outstanding Performance List

JACKSONVILLE FL 9TH grade NUC Schuman’s Outstanding Performance List
Ja'Vakiel Brigham
Blountstown MS, FL
8th
RB #18
WOW! That's basically all we could say after this 8th grade phenom took home the Combine King award. At 5'9.5 169, Brigham had a 30 inch vertical, 10 foot broad jump (no that isn't a mistake, a 10 FOOT BROAD JUMP by an 8th grader!), while running a 4.41 shuttle and 4.70 50. This is definitely the best stat sheet we have ever seen from an 8th grader. You would be foolish not to keep an eye in Brigham.

Ulysses Bryant
Lee HS, FL
9th
RB #39
Bryant, 5'5.5 157, won the RB MVP. Bryant had a 28.5 inch vertical, bench pressed 135 lbs 21 times, tremendous speed, body control and a great push during 1 on 1's.

Jordan Gray
Eagles View Academy, FL
8th
CB #40
Gray, 5'8.5 149, took home the 8th Grade MVP. Gray had an 8'0 broad jump, ran a 4.41 shuttle, bench pressed 135 lbs 17 times, had terrific ball skills, instincts and pressured the WR's throughout the 1 on 1's.

Myles Gaines
Lawton Chiles HS, FL
9th
WR #32
After taking home the WR MVP, Myles gained a ton of respect. At 5'8.5 146, Gaines ran a 4.54 shuttle, had good hands, nice body control, a high football IQ and solid routes. Gaines has a lot of talent.

Marcus Clark
Chiles HS, FL
9th
RB #30
Clark won the Fastest Man award. The 5'6 164 lb speedster ran a 4.60 40, 4.75 shuttle, had an 8'6 broad jump and bench pressed 135 lbs 19 times. During the 1 on 1's, he had great feet, tremendous body control and good hip movement. Clark is explosive and quick, making him a handful to cover.

Thomas Vinyard
Episcopal HS, FL
9th
OL #9
Vinyard was the Strongest Man award winner. A powerhouse at 6'0 224, Vinyard bench pressed 155 lbs 22 times.

JJ Green
Camden County HS, GA
9th
CB #42
Green was on the money at the combine and took home the DB MVP. The 5'7.5 157 lb green had an 8'10 broad jump, ran a 4.51 shuttle, bench pressed 135 lbs 22 times and completely shut down the WR's during 1 on 1's. Green was physical, recovered well, did a great job of covering the ball and jamming receivers. Green will definitely see plenty of it in his future.

William Zirow
Fleming Island HS, FL
9th
QB #7
Zirzow, 6'4.5 191, won the QB MVP. Zirzow threw a great ball and had the ability to pass both long and short distances, making him a major threat every time he takes the ball under center.

Brice Ramsey
Camden County HS, GA
9th
QB #4
Ramsey came up with the Overall MVP. The 6'2 182 lb star ran a 4.51 shuttle, had an 8'1 broad jump and was terrific during the individual period. Ramsey had tremendous smarts, good footwork and excellent patience.
