NUC Exclusive Interview: Justin Osborne MVP Combine(Jacksonville, Fl)

Coach Schuman: What did you do to prepare for the National Underclassmen Combine?
Justin Osborne: I met with my coaches and we ran through different drills with my teammates.

Coach Schuman:Have you been to the NUC before? How did you do? What were your expectations going into this years event?
Justin Osborne: This was my first time at NUC. I did really good, I sold my routes and caught every ball that was thrown my way. I also did good in my drills. I just wanted to shine over everyone.

Coach Schuman:You were MVP! What are your goals now?
Justin Osborne: My goals are to keep grades up and get recognition from colleges. I want to have a great season and my team and I are winning the 5A state championship.

Coach Schuman:How did you hear about the National Underclassmen Combine and what was your favorite part about the event?
Justin Osborne: I heard about NUC from a former participant. One on ones was my favorite part of the camp.

Coach Schuman:If you can choose 5 schools where you would be interested in playing what would they be?
Justin Osborne: Florida State, Clemson, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida

Coach Schuman:What do you like about high school football? What are your goals for your team and yourself?
Justin Osborne: I like the intensity of high school football. Goals for my team is to win our district and win the state championship. My goals are to be an asset to the team and using my gifts and skills, and have Division 1 offers at the end of the season.

Coach Schuman:Do you play other sports? Tell about your accomplishments?
Justin Osborne: Baseball is my other sport that Iplay and last year my AAU baseball team was third in the state in the Babe Ruth tournament.

Coach Schuman:What is your favorite thing about football? what makes it a great sport to you?
Justin Osborne:  My favorite thing about football is the competitiveness. Every one gets to showcase their talents in a different way.

Coach Schuman:Tell me about your training regimen...How do you get better every day?
 Justin Osborne: I hit the weights, do footwork drills, and do one on ones with college atheletes so they can give me pointers.

Coach Schuman:What are you looking for in college? Academically? football?
Justin Osborne: Academically I want to maintain A's and B's. In football I want to get a ring and experience the college football life.
