Jermaine Antoine Loreauville HS, LA 9th WR #33 | Antoine, 5'9 163, won the Overall MVP. Antonie had a 9'1 broad jump, ran a 4.52 shuttle and starred during 1 on 1's. Antoine has terrific hands, runs nice routes and fits well into an offense. |
Larry Cage Zachary HS, LA 9th DL #34 | Cage unleashed his talents at the combine en route to winning the DL MVP. At 6'2 180, Cage had an 8'8 broad jump, ran a 4.71 shuttle, 4.74 40 and wrecked havoc during 1 on 1's. |
Jamal Chevis Beau Chene HS, LA 9th RB #28 | Chevis took home the RB MVP. The 5'7 146 lb Chevis had a 29 inch vertical, 8'4 broad jump, bench pressed 135 lbs 24 times and did a nice job during 1 on 1's. Chevis' strength will help him power through the defense for extra yards. |
Tevin Horton John Curtis Christian, LA 9th RB #8 | Horton was the co-RB MVP. The athletically gifted Horton had a 9'6 broad jump, bench pressed 135 lbs 20 times and performed at a high level during 1 on 1's. |
Donald Gage Redemptorist HS, LA 9th WR #23 | Gage won the Combine King and Fastest Man awards. At 5'10 156, Gage had a 30 inch vertical, 8'7 broad jump, ran a 4.56 shuttle, 4.68 40 and bench pressed 135 lbs 15 times. It's pretty easy to Gage where Donald's talent is. |
Nicholas Brossette Kenilworth MS, LA 7th RB #3 | Brosette, 5'11 191, won the underclassmen MVP. Brosette had an 8'8 broad jump, 26 inch vertical and did a good job during 1 on 1's. Brosette is the first 7th grader to win the award usually known as the "8th Grade MVP" to our knowledge . |
Brandon Fields McKinley HS, LA 9th QB #48 | Brandon had a field(s) day at the combine en route to winning the QB MVP. At 5'10.5 175, Fields had an 8'2 broad jump, quick feet, a strong arm and put the ball in the right place at the right time. |
Brandon Bergeron St. Thomas More HS, LA 9th QB #20 | Bergeron won the Leadership Award. Bergeron, a hard working 6'1 181 lb QB, hustled nonstop, kept his fellow campers fired up and displayed the type of poise any team leader needs. |
Jameson Brown Pineville HS, LA 9th LB #41 | Brown, 5'8 177, won the LB MVP. Brown had a 28 inch vertical, 8'5 broad jump, displayed solid athleticism and physical strength during 1 on 1's. Brown can really cut down an offense. |
Justin Sampson Dutchtown HS, LA 9th CB #34 | Sampson took home the DB MVP. A shut down d-back at 5'6.5 145, Simpson had an 8'0 broad jump, had good closing speed, nice hips and was easy to coach. |
Curtis Jones St. John HS, LA 9th DL #90 | A massive 5'9 305 lb powerhouse, Jones won the DL MVP. Jones' size and strength gave him great leverage during 1 on 1's and he used his hands well. |
Chris Taylor Zachary HS, LA 9th OL #77 | A monster of the midway at 6'1 323, Taylor won the OL MVP. Taylor's gargantuan size, technique and strength enabled him to hold down the opposing linemen during 1 on 1's. |
Jay Washington St. Paul's HS, LA 9th WR #10 | Washington, 5'10.5 170, won the WR MVP. Washington was on the money, jumping an 8'4 on the broad, 29.5 in the vertical leap and displayed great hands during 1 on 1's |
Rosheed Davis Edner Karr HS, LA 9th WR #12 | Undersized but loaded with skill at 5'3 126, Davis won the co-WR MVP and co-Fastest. Davis ran a 4.75 shuttle, 4.72 40 and displayed solid qucikness during 1 on 1's. |
