Alex Hernandez Fairfax HS, AZ 11th TE #88 | Hernandez, 5’11.5 201, won the TE MVP. Hernandez had quick feet, running a 4.55 shuttle, and did a great job during 1 on 1’s. | |
Chrisdeon Ayiyi Apollo HS, AZ 11th TE #62 | Ayiyi, 6’0 191, was the TE MVP. Ayiyi is a finesse style TE, with a 8’6 broad jump making him more athletic than a number of players at the position. He ran good routes and has soft hands; thus can also play WR. | |
Alex Hernandez Fairfax HS, AZ 11th TE #88 | Hernandez, 5’11.5 201, won the co-TE MVP. Hernandez ran a 4.55 shuttle and had tremendous strength, using his power to snag a number of balls. | |
Adam Brzeczek Queen Creek HS, AZ 11th QB #76 | Brzezek, 5’11.5 177, took home the QB MVP after a stellar performance. Brzeck had a 29.5 inch vertical, 8’4 broad jump, was accurate, poised and had a great drop step during 1 on 1’s. | |
Hunter Long Douglas HS, AZ 11th LB #92 | Long won the LB MVP. At 6’2 222, Long had an 8’1 broad jump, was aggressive and did a great job in man coverage during 1 on 1’s. | |
DeAnthony Easley Millennium HS, AZ 11th S #32 | Easley nabbed the DB MVP award after a solid day on the gridiron. At 5’8 180, Easley had a 30 inch vertical, 8’7 broad jump and ran a 4.57 40. During 1 on1 ‘s he had a quick change of direction, exploded out of the break and does a great job of keeping his eye on the ball. DeAnthony was easily the best DB we had! | |
Vivi Teofilo Moon Valley HS, AZ 11th OL #99 | Teofilo, 6’2.5 258, earned the OL MVP with a dominant performance at the combine. Teofilo bench pressed 185 lbs 29 times, had great hands, feet and fundamentals during 1 on 1’s. This strong and athletic OL is a star on the rise. | |
Vegas Johnson Centennial HS, AZ 11th RB #72 | Johnson, 5’9.5 204, won the RB MVP. The athletic Johnson had an 8’6 broad jump, ran a 4.66 shuttle, 4.63 40, bench pressed 185 lbs 16 times and starred during 1 on 1’s. | |
Sam Kemp Mountain View HS, AZ 11th DL #84 | Kemp, 6’4 230, came away with the DL MVP award after a solid performance. Kemp had quick feet for a player his size, running a 4.66 shuttle, bench pressed 185 lbs 17 times, while displaying good technique, speed and a solid work ethic during 1 on 1’s. Kemp is a very good d-lineman. | |
Julien Singleton Centennial HS, AZ 11th WR #71 | Singleton took home the WR MVP. At 5’10 150, Singleton had a 31 inch vertical, 9’1 broad jump, ran a 4.66 shuttle and did a great job during 1 on 1’s. | |
Deaunte Jefferson Marcos De Niza HS, AZ 11th WR #70 | Jefferson was the co-WR MVP. A talented athlete at 5’8 144, Jefferson had a 33 inch vertical, 9’6 broad jump, ran a 4.25 shuttle, 4.59 40 and did a nice job during 1 on 1’s. | |
Martwon Weaver Marcos De Niza HS, AZ 11th WR #19 | Weaver, 5’10 165, also took home the Leadership and co-WR MVP. Weaver hustled throughout the day, keeping his fellow campers pumped up, had a 30 inch vertical, 9’1 broad jump, ran a 4.37 shuttle, 4.4 40 and was a tremendous playmaker during 1 on 1’s. | |
DJ Hubbard La Joya HS, AZ 11th RB #10 | DJ Hubbard; remember the name. The 5’5.5 152 lb sensation took home the Overall MVP, Combine King and Fastest Man awards after putting together a performance for the ages. Hubbard had a 35 inch vertical, NBA like 10’2 broad jump, ran a 4.28 shuttle, 4.38 40 and was flawless during 1 on 1’s. Sure, he is a bit undersized, but an athlete with this kind of talent is far too good to ignore. |
