Zoey Williams

Williams was sensational on the gridiron and took home the Overall MVP. At 5’9.5 185, Williams had a 30 inch vertical, 9’2 broad jump, ran a 4.41 shuttle, had great technique, confidence, leadership and lockdown ability during 1 on 1’s. Williams is a DB a coach can always rely on.

Reggie Begelton
Westbrook HS, TX

Begelton, 5’10.5 173, won the WR MVP. The athletically gifted Begelton had a 33 inch vertical, 9’5 broad jump, ran a 4.31 shuttle and had terrific hands. He also ran smooth routes and has the potential to develop into a TE.

Nick Brooks
Atascocita HS, TX

Brooks earned the DB MVP after battling all day at the combine. At 5’8.5 173, Brooks had an 8’11 broad jump, ran a 4.47 shuttle and fought tooth and nail with the WR’s during 1 on 1’s. He had great closing speed, acceleration and was easy to coach, making him a primer DB.

Rayneil Nelson
Baytown Sterling HS, TX

Nelson, 5’8.5 164, was crowned Combine King and Fastest Man. This rising star had a 33.5 inch vertical, 9’11 broad jump, ran a 4.18 shuttle and 4.47 40. Nelson is the kind of athlete that can be a major asset to any squad.

Dillon West

West, 5’11 186, threw the ball in all the right places and earned the QB MVP. West’s sound decision making, accuracy and release point put him atop the junior QB’s.

Rickey Lunford

Lunford took home the RB MVP after wowing coaches with an all around impressive performance. Lunford, 5’11.5 190, had a 32 inch vertical, 9’10 broad jump, ran a 4.58 shuttle and bench pressed 185 lbs 20 times while displaying solid quickness and smooth running ability during 1 on 1’s.

Preston Dotson
Westfield HS, TX

Dotson, 5’8.5 226, was the co-RB MVP. The powerful Dotson bench pressed 185 lbs 20 times, had great hands, impressive explosiveness and good bulk, which guided him during 1 on 1’s.

Reggie Sigers
Seven Lakes HS, TX

Sigers, 6’1.5 230, was th TE MVP. Siegers ran a 4.43 shuttle and used hiss size and strength to impress during 1 on 1’s. He also had very good hands. Sigers is a solid combo TE.

Melvin Jewell

Jewell, 5’8.5 197, came up with the LB MVP after busting his tail on the football field. Jewell had an 8’8 broad jump, ran a 4.43 shuttle and bench pressed 185 lbs 22 times. During 1 on 1’s he was very physical and displayed solid coverage skills. Jewell is definitely a gem.

Tyler Godwin
Clear Springs HS, TX

A monster of the midway at 6’2.5 236, Godwin won the OL MVP. Godwin had very good athleticism for a big man (with an 8’5 broad jump, and 4.69 shuttle run to boot), while bench pressing 185 lbs 22 times and showing great hands during 1 on 1’s. Godwin is a unique o-lineman.

Brad Goodrich
Westfield HS, TX

Between Godwin and Goodrich, there is plenty of good from this combine. Goodrich, 5’10 227, earned the co-OL MVP after neutralizing the DL during 1 on 1’s with his good hands, hips and toughness.

Jaylen Jordan
Elkins HS, TX

Looks like the sports world may have found the next Jordan; Jaylen that is. A stud defensive lineman at 6’3 215, Jordan won the DL MVP. Jordan had a 30.5 inch vertical, 8’11 broad jump, ran a 4.44 shuttle and thoroughly dominated during 1 on 1’s. Just like the Jordan we all know, Jaylen is a rare breed from a DL standpoint.

Lawrence Willis
Aldine HS, TX

Willis won the Strongest Man award after bench pressing 185 lbs 32 times. The 5’11 286 lb Willis has tremendous strength and can hold off just about any d-lineman.

Wesley McCord
Magnolia West HS, TX

QB #19
McCord, 5’0 180 earned the Leadership award with a gutsy performance at the combine. McCord simply outhustled his counterparts, while setting an example of how to conduct yourself on the football fild.
