Bralon Addison
Fort Bend Hightower HS, TX

WR #1
Addison, 5’9 177, took home the Overall MVP award after a terrific day on the football field. Addison had an 8’7.5 broad jump, ran a 4.44 shuttle, ran great routes, had solid hands and was able to adjust his body well even when balls weren’t thrown perfectly.

Corey Thompson
Elvans HS, TX

WR #20
Corey “King” Thompson won the Combine King award after a blistering performance at the combine. Thompson had the best vertical (36 inches) broad jump (9’10) and shuttle (4.22). Impressive stuff.

Anthony Smith
Westfield HS, TX

DL #84
Smith was the Strongest Man and co-DL MVP winner. A massive 5’10.5 276, Smith bench pressed 185 lbs 26 times, had a 29.5 inch vertical, 8’5 broad jump, ran a 4.71 shuttle and was a monster during 1 on 1’s. He is a terrific athlete with solid 1 on 1 moves.

Justin Thomas
West Orange Stark HS, TX

Thomas, 5’7.5 159 won the DB MVP. An athletic shut down corner, Thomas had a 33.5 inch vertical, 9’4 broad jump, ran a 4.41 shuttle, 4.56 40 and created plenty of frustrations for the offense during 1 on 1’s.

Cooper Woodyard
The Woodlands HS, TX

It’s always great to see an NUC alum return and improve on the previous year’s performance. Woodyard, a 2009 standout, took home the QB MVP in ’10 after running a 4.34 shuttle and throwing a number of accurate passes during the 1 on 1’s.

Brooks Haack
Katy HS, TX

Haack, 6’0.5 178, was the co-QB MVP. Haack had an 8’8.5 broad jump, ran a 4.36 shuttle, had supreme confidence and mad smart, accurate passes during 1 on 1’s. Haack definitely isn’t one to cough up the football.

Andrew Robinson
J. Frank Dobie HS, TX

RB #2
Robinson, 5’8 177, won the RB MVP. Robinson had a 30 inch vertical, 8’4 broad jump, ran a 4.59 shuttle, bench pressed 155 lbs 29 times and displayed tremendous strength during 1 on 1’s. Robinson is pure power back.

Devon Johnson
Thurgood Marshall HS, TX

Johnson, another return star, was the co-RB MVP. At 5’8 181, Johnson had a 28.5 inch vertical, had an 8’9 broad jump, ran a 4.62 shuttle, bench pressed 155 lbs 20 times and  put his feet to work during 1 on 1’s.

Keith B. Hartaway
Chavez HS, TX

Hartaway had it his way at the combine and took home the WR MVP. At 5’10 185, Hartaway ran a 4.54 shuttle, had great hands, solid footwork and his routes looked excellent.

DeAndre Liggins
Cyranch HS, TX

Liggins, 5’9.5 169, was the co-WR MVP and Leadership award winner. Liggins hustled throughout the day, displayed a winning attitude, had an 8’8 broad jump, ran a 4.36 shuttle, 4.52 40 and made great catches during 1 on 1’s. Anybody who can play like Liggins and is the leader of the pack is truly special.

Marcus Nesbitt
Elkins HS, TX

LB #64
Nesbitt, 5’10 205, won the LB MVP. Nesbitt had an 8’4 broad jump, ran a 4.43 shutttle, displayed tremendous strength by bench pressing 155 lbs 28 times and had great intensity during 1 on 1’s. Nesbitt has all the tools to be a primer linebacker.

Jared Kaster
Rice HS, TX
10th
OL #53
Kaster, 6’1.5 201, nabbed the OL MVP after silencing the opposing linemen. Kaster had great technique, tremendous leverage and quick hands.

Paul Boyette Jr
Humble HS, TX
10th
DL #100
Boyette, 6’1 250, won the DL MVP. Boyette was powerful and explosive during 1 on 1’s, making things uncomfortable for the OL.

Melvin McAdams
Bellaire HS, TX
10th
CB #3
McAdams was the Fastest Man award winner. The 5’5 140 lb speedster ran a 4.45 40, 4.50 shuttle, and had an 8’9.5 broad jump.

Kiel Heidman
Cedar Lake HS, TX
10th
LB #40
Heidman was the Strongest Man at a skill position. At 6’1.5 213, Heidman bench pressed 155 lbs 30 times, ran a 4.29 shuttle and had an 8’3 broad jump.
