
Ty Byrd: I was in basketball most of the time but the time I did have to workout out I worked in the weight room a little and did some sprinting drills and working on foot work
Coach Schuman:Have you been to the NUC before? How did you do? What were your expectations going into this years event?
Ty Byrd:No I never been to NUC
Coach Schuman:You were MVP! What are your goals now?
Ty Byrd:To keep going as far as I can. Keep working hard. Get a scholarship a full ride. That's my main focus.
Coach Schuman:How did you hear about the National Underclassmen Combine and what was your favorite part about the event?
Ty Byrd:I heard about it from my coach and my favorite part was one on ones
Coach Schuman:If you can choose 5 schools where you would be interested in playing what would they be?
Ty Byrd:Florida state,Michigan state,Oregon,UCLA,Arizona
Which ever school gives me an opportunity to play what I love.
Coach Schuman:What do you like about high school football? What are your goals for your team and yourself?
Ty Byrd:I love the school spirit and the fact I been playing wit guys I knew since I was younger. My goals is to win state of coarse and all my boys to be successful in life, and win in life not only football.
Do you play other sports? Tell about your accomplishments?
Ty Byrd:I play basketball and I run track. I have played varsity basketball for one year and I ran track on varsity for 3 years. I have won several medals for hurdles and sprints. I varsity football for 2 years .. I got offensive MVP this year.
What is your favorite thing about football? what makes it a great sport to you?
Ty Byrd:My favorite thing about football is waking up everyday smelling that green grass and being able to take all your problems out on the field and playing for my family my brothers on the team and my coaches that put the time into coach.
Coach Schuman:Tell me about your training regimen...How do you get better every day?
Ty Byrd:By doing the right thing and pushing myself to do better things In life at anything I do.
Coach Schuman:What are you looking for in college? Academically? football?
Ty Byrd:I looking to get a great education in pre law and minor in business management. I'm working to get a full ride for football so I can get a free education. Football wise I'm trying to help the team to get better and be better. And to get to that big game. And bring my positive attitude to a great program.
