Coach Schuman: What did you do to prepare for the National Underclassmen Combine?
DYLAN MALONE:Worked out every day, both in Athletic conditioning and at the gym
Coach Schuman:Have you been to the NUC before? How did you do?
DYLAN MALONE:What were your expectations going into this years event? Yes, I went my Sophmore year. I did really well. I made it to the Ultimate 100 for the West. I wanted to make the showcase.
Coach Schuman: You were MVP! What are your goals now?
DYLAN MALONE:I would like to get the really big trophy, the overall MVP!
Coach Schuman:How did you hear about the National Underclassmen Combine and what was your favorite part about the event?
DYLAN MALONE:A friend and teammate of mine, Tyler Swinford told me about it. My favorite part of the event are the one on ones.
Coach Schuman:If you can choose 5 schools where you would be interested in playing what would they be?
DYLAN MALONE:Iowa State University, Oregon, Texas, Illinois State, Nevada.
Which ever school gives me an opportunity to play what I love. Any of the schools who would like to see me play.
Coach Schuman:What do you like about high school football? What are your goals for your team and yourself?
DYLAN MALONE:I like HS football, its fun. There is a lot of energy. My goal in HS football was to be the starting varsity running back. I did that in my sophmore year. I was the number 1 kick returner in the Citrus Belt League for the Inland Division of Southern California.
Coach Schuman:Do you play other sports? Tell about your accomplishments?
DYLAN MALONE:No other sports at this time. Also I am thinking of doing track my senior year.
Coach Schuman:What is your favorite thing about football?
what makes it a great sport to you?
DYLAN MALONE:Favorite thing- having the ball in my hand. Knowing it is there. I control that ball. I love making plays and running with the ball. Football will give me an opportunity in college. Also it has a great atmosphere.
Coach Schuman:Tell me about your training regimen...How do you get better every day?
DYLAN MALONE:I work out 5 days per week, for a hard hour or so. I take supplements to help maintain my muscle mass. I also eat about 5 times per day!
Coach Schuman:What are you looking for in college? Academically? football?
Looking forward to graduating college with a degree. I am not sure what it is I would like to specialize in. I look forward to college and playing football. I would also like the opportunity to go further than college in football.
