Southeast Five Star - Top Running Back Performers

	Brian L. Walker Jr. 2013 69 ½, 170 Sulphur, LA	Walker Jr. was the Overall MVP of the showcase. At 5-9 ½, 170, Walker showed great hands, good speed and is a very fluid athlete. He makes everything look easy and has the unique ability to be in great position to catch everything. Sure to be a fantastic player at the next level.
	George Moreira 2013 69/192 John Curtis, LA	Moreira was the RB MVP. Standing at 5-9, 192, Moreira is a powerful back with great explosiveness. He couldn’t be contained out of the backfield, a threat to score every time he’s on the field. Part of the Class of 2014, Moreira has room to grow.
	Nick Brossette 2015 72/203 University Lab, LA	Brossette was the Underclassmen MVP, an incredible achievement given that he is just a member of the Class of 2015. Brosette is an amazing running back for a freshman – a big back at 6-foot, 203 with great explosiveness. He is very fluid and is excellent pass catcher, a player with real potential to be a five-star recruit.
	Richard Thomas 2013 70 ½, 210 West Lauderdale, MS	Thomas was one of the best running backs at the showcase. At 5-10 ½, 210, Thomas is a big back with amazing fluidity and surprising speed for his size. He is a definite D1 prospect.
	Sione Palelei 2014 69, 183 East Ascension, LA	Palelei is a running back with great change of direction skills. At 5-9, 183, Palelei has great upside as he is in the Class of 2014. He’s a very smooth athlete who excels as a receiver out of the backfield, has great potential as a speed back.
	Chris Jones 2013 68 ¾, 161 Tylertown, MS	Jones is a fantastic scat back at 5-8 ¾, 161. He has very good speed, good hips and feet and decent hands. With great separation skills, he must improve hands.
	Chris Collins 2013 68 ½, 164 Dutchtown, LA	Collins is a speed back at 5-8 ½, 164. He has good hands, great feet and is very fluid. Collins is a playmaker out of the backfield.
	Quadre’ Butler 2014 69, 193 East Side, MS	Butler is a solid running back with great upside.
	Marshall Harmon 2013 68 ½, 202 Kinder, LA	Harmon is very powerful, has good speed and has great hands.
	Christopher Thomas 2014 68, 194 Salmen, LA	Thomas is a fast back with great hands – a threat out of the backfield.
	Latin Berry 2014 67, 144 Sulphur, LA	Berry is a scat back with great quickness.
