DC Superstar Vance Roberts to play in National Underclassmen Combine All-World Game!

Mahwah, NJ (November 26, 2010) - Elite cornerback Vance Roberts of Washington, DC will showcase his talents in the first ever National Underclassmen Combine All World Gridiron Classic.
a former Ultimate 100 Camp standout, Roberts is rated as the number one player in DC according to Rivals.com and is a four star recruit. As a junior in 2009, the 5'10 165 lb sensation was First Team All Metro and First Team All DC, en route to posting a terrific 10-2 record. Roberts is committed to West Virginia, turning down scholarship offers from Wisconsin, Notre Dame, Kansas and Michigan State amongst others.
"From the first time I saw Vance at our combine, I knew he was going to be a special player," said NUC CEO & President David Schuman. "He was a top player at our Ultimate 100 Camp and this kid is absolutely fearless on the football field."
As a longtime NUC supporter and participant, being invited to the Gridiron Classic means the world to Roberts.
"It is an honor," Roberts said of being picked for the game. "I have been involved with the NUC since 9th grade so being selected to participate in such a big game along with my brother is a blessing."
The NUC All-World Gridiron Classic will showcase 114 elite high school seniors from all across the globe in a unique All-Star Game. Players from the two squads, Team NUC & Team World, will be drafted from the ground up by the coaching staff to ensure a level playing field. There will also be a full week of events leading up to game day for select All-World Underclassmen including 7 on 7's, linemen challenges and a combine.
More than 50 seniors have accepted invites to participate in the NUC All-World Gridiron Classic thus far, including Nationally rated linebacker Kentrell Brothers (Guthrie, OK), Georgia Tech bound linebacker Amarlo Herrera (College Park, GA), Missouri bound wide receiver Wesley Leftwich (Columbia, MO) and amongst others. More roster announcements will follow in the coming weeks.
The NUC All-World Gridiron Classic kicks off from Columbia, SC at The Citadel's Johnson Hagood Stadium Friday, December 31, 2010 at 6 pm ET. Broadcast and ticket information will be announced shortly.
