Chabot College will host Oakland/San Francisco area combine this Friday and Saturday, when the National Underclassmen Combine returns to the Bay Area for what has the potential to be a memorable event.
All athletes will partake in pro-style combine testing, including the 40-yard dash, broad jump, bench press, vertical leap, and shuttle run along with position specific drills, 1 on 1’s and 3 on 3 competitions. In addition to the elite athletes receiving coverage on Rivals and Espn.com, statistics of every participant will be sent out to colleges at all three levels.
Those that are talented enough will earn themselves invites to the Ultimate 100 Camp.
Last year, star athletes such as Isaac Goins, Najee Lovett, Blake Jurich and Nathan Morace made a major statement at the combine, putting forth tremendous performances at the very same event where some of the area's best will come to compete this weekend. All four are likely to make noise at the next level. None of them gave an inch when the going to got tough, placing them amongst the Bay Area's Best.
Think you are the Bay Area's next great football standout? There's only one way to find out.
8th/9th graders are scheduled to compete at 3 pm Friday, while sophomores hit the field at noon and Juniors go for glory 5 pm Saturday.
Athletes can sign up for the Oakland/San Francisco combine on www.nationalunderclassmen.com or call 1-888-NUC-MVP1 for more details.
