Sophomore Standouts from Nashville!

·        Cory Batey (Ensworth HS) had an unforgettable day last Saturday at Glencliff HS; One that he likely didn't predict unless he had Chad Ochocinco's level of confidence. The 5'11.5 181 lb sensation won the Overall MVP and Combine king after his 37.5 inch vertical, 10'0 broad jump, 4.49 shuttle run, 4.60 40, 22 reps at 155 lbs on the bench press and terrific skills as a wideout easily put him atop the charts. Batey looks to be a special player.

·        LaJuan Warfield (Alcora) was another star WR and brought home the MVP at that very position. The 5'11.5 177 lb prospect had an 8'10 broad jump, 30.5 inch vertical, ran a 4.42 shuttle, had quick feet and good hands.

·        Hogan Goodson (Alcora) was the best amongst the QB's. At 6'1 181, he has surprising quickness, good strength and impressive accuracy.

·        Alex Dale (Memphis University HS) was very much so the water that extinguished a fiery offensive squadron during the 1 on 1's. Dale, a 5'9 172 lb shut down machine,  had a 9'10 broad jump, played physical and has great coverage ability.

·        Condy Cox is your prototypical hard worker. The 5'8 198 lb running back was tops at his position and also won the Leadership Award. Cox jolted from drill to drill, had the attitude of a champion and also bench pressed 155 lbs 22 times. Coaches love athletes like this.
