Virginia is flat out loaded this year. The top five players in Virginia can play anywhere in the country. Hand is ranked by most recruiting services as the top player or defensive end in the country. Blanding is a huge muscular safety with serious ball skills. Brown is that rare body type that could project as a SDE or DT at the next level. Then you have two tall quarterbacks (Henderson & Speight) who can whip it all over the field. Look for every major DI school in the country to visit the 757 this spring. The Virginia state rankings will be updated at least two more times before signing day.

It looks like the Keystone State is loaded this year. The top end of the Pennsylvania Top 25 sees skilled athletes galore. Montae Nicholson, KJ Williams, and Thaddius Smith get it done on both sides of the ball for their respective schools. Don't forget the big guys! Alex Bookser, Donate Angus, Noah Beh, and Mike Grimm would fill the biggest freight elevator in the country. And if you like tall pro-style signal callers then you have to love JJ Cosentino, Andrew Ford, and Chandler Kincade. These guys can see the whole field. Look for the Pennsylvania state rankings to be updated at least two more times before signing day 2014.

2013 NUC FCS SIGNEES
The National Underclassmen would like to take the time to congratulate every NUC alumnus that signed scholarships at the FCS level for the Class of 2013. We were able to find 487 former NUC participants that inked with FCS colleges. There is no greater honor than having the opportunity to continue your football career while gaining a quality education.
No conference signed more NUC alums then the Big Sky with 54 signatures. They were followed closely by the Colonial Athletic Association with 50. It is no wonder that both those conferences are the two premier FCS leagues in the country. Both Alabama State (SWAC) and Liberty (Big South) signed the most players with NUC experience each gaining a dozen NUC alums apiece.
The Sunshine State had the most NUC alums sign FCS college scholarships with 54 signatures. They were followed by Georgia (53), California (35), Virginia (29), and North Carolina/Louisiana with (24) signees. A breakdown by position shows that OL's and DB's led the way with 84 NUC signees each.
Note: The Ivy League and Pioneer League have not released all of their commitments at this date. That being said the number of NUC alums signing scholarships at the FCS level will surely go over the 500 mark.
