October 8, 2012
FORT WORTH, Texas - After a sensational performance that included 186 rushing yards and 127 passing yards, Ohio State's Braxton Miller has been named the Davey O'Brien Quarterback of the Week. Miller played an integral role in the Buckeyes' 63-38 win over the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
While leading his team to their most points scored in a conference game since 1983, the Ohio native was outstanding, rushing for 15 or more yards five times, including big gains of 31 and 72 yards. Miller is now second in the Big Ten with 763 rushing yards and has rushed for over 100 yards in four of his first six games.
"Having someone like Braxton making a big play got the crowd back into it," Ohio State wide receiver Corey Brown said. "He got us into the game along with the crowd and gave us confidence we would be able to score."
Ohio State will look to stay perfect as they head to Memorial Stadium next Saturday to face the Indiana Hoosiers.
