The NUC East State Rankings have been updated. Based on the state rankings we have expanded the Regional East Top45 to an East Top50. There are 13 new names in the East Top50 denoted by the pound sign. All 13 new players are now eligible for inclusion in the new NUC Ultimate150 which will come out once all the regional rankings have been updated.
Virginia leads the way with 13 players in the East Top50 followed closely by Pennsylvania with 11 representatives. Maryland and New Jersey are hot on their heels with nine and eight players respectively ranked in the new East Top50. There are 20 players in the East Top50 that have attended an NUC event and each is denoted with an asterisk. Below the players are listed in Alphabetical order. Also below the new NUC East Top50 are NUC participants that are legit DI prospects that we would like to give a Special Mention.
 
 
Jonathan Allen, DL, Stone Bridge, VA Allen recorded over 100 tackles and 15 sacks as a junior.
Alex Anzalone*, LB, Wyomissing Area, PA Anzalone was named First Team AA All-State.
Anthony Averett#, ATH, Woodbury, NJ This two-way star ran for over 1,000 yards and recorded 68 tackles.
Kenny Bigelow*, DL, Eastern Christian Academy, MD Bigelow recorded an amazing 20 sacks this past season.
Tyler Boyd#, WR, Clairton, PA Boyd was named PSWA Class A Player of the Year.
Brandon Bell#, LB, Oakcrest, NJ Bell recorded 117 tackles and 24 TFL's last season.
Adam Breneman, TE, Cedar Cliff, PA He has already caught 142 passes for 2,244 yards and 22 touchdowns in his career.
Buddy Brown, LB, Williamstown, NJ Brown recorded 67 tackles and three sacks on season.
Oren Burks, LB, South County, VA Burks recorded 128 tackles and 11 sacks.
Ryan Burns*, QB, Stone Bridge, VA This huge signal caller has all the tools.
Devin Butler, DB, Gonzaga, DC Butler was named First Team All-Conference.
Corey Clement#, RB, Glassboro, NJ Clement ran for 2,510 yards and 34 scores.
Augustus Edwards#, RB, Tottenville, NY Edwards was named First Team All-New York City.
Holland Fisher*, LB, Clover Hill, VA Fisher was named Second Team All-Area Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Robert Foster, WR, Central Valley, PA He had 37 catches for 584 yards and five scores while recording 57 tackles.
Kendall Fuller*, DB, Good Counsel, MD Fuller was named First Team All-State.
Derwin Gray*, OL, Friendship Collegiate, DC Gray missed his junior season but is back at full strength now.
Derrick Green*, RB, Hermitage, VA Green was named First Team All-Area Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Christian Hackenberg*#, QB, Fork Union Military, VA Hackenberg is your prototypical pro-style pocket passer.
Tim Harris*, DB, Varina, VA Harris was named Second Team All-Area Richmond Times-Dispatch.
Bucky Hodges*, QB, Salem, VA Roanoke Times-Dispatch #1 rated junior.
Maurice Hurst, DL, Xaverian Brothers, MA Hurst recorded 61 tackles, 13.5 TFL's, and seven sacks.
Andrew Isaacs#, TE, Manchester, CT Isaacs was named Class LL All-State.
Zayd Issah, LB, Central Dauphin, PA Issah was named Class AAAA Player of the Year after putting up 2,017 yards of offense and recording 123 tackles.
Taivon Jacobs#, ATH, Suitland, MD Jacobs averaged 26.3 yards per catch.
Dorian Johnson#, OL, Belle Vernon Area, PA Johnson may be the top run blocking offensive tackle in the state.
Micah Kiser, LB, Gilman School, MD Kiser was named First Team All-State.
Patrick Kugler, OL, North Allegheny, PA Kugler blocked for 266 rushing yards per game.
E.J. Levenberry*, LB, CD Hylton, VA He recorded over 140 tackles on the season.
John Montelus, OL, Everett, MA Montelus led team to MIAA E-IA State Championship.
Taquan Mizzell*, RB, Bayside, VA Mizzell was named Overall MVP at the NUC East Five-Star Showcase.
Dorian Miller*, OL, Metuchen, NJ Two-way star that recorded 59 tackles on season.
AJ Moore#, LB, Highland Springs, VA This speedy outside linebacker can track down ball carriers from behind.
Al-Quadin Muhammad#, DL, Don Bosco Prep, NJ Muhammad was part of a defense that led Don Bosco to the NUC #1 Team Ranking.
Marcus Newby, LB, Quince Orchard, MD Newby is your prototypical athletic inside linebacker.
Dorian O'Daniel*, LB, Good Counsel, MD O'Daniel helped team only give up nine points per game.
Ebenezer Ogundeko*, DL, Thomas Jefferson, NY Ogundeko could player several positions on the defensive side of the ball.
Sadiq Olanrewaju, OL, Salisbury School, CT Olanrewaju has the size and feet to play LOT at the next level.
Michael Parker, LB, Kettle Run, VA Parker has the skill set of a big safety/athletic linebacker.
Henry Poggi, DL, Gilman, MD Poggi helped team to (10-1) record.
Doug Randolph, LB, Woodberry Forest, VA Randolph was named Second Team All-State VISAA Defense.
Chavas Rawlins#, QB, Monessen, PA Rawlins may be the most athletic quarterback in the state.
Khaliel Rodgers*#, OL, Eastern Christian Academy, MD Rodgers was NUC East Ultimate100 OL MVP and Strongest Man.
NA'Ty Rodgers, OL, McDonough, MD Rodgers is one of the most athletic linemen on the Eastern Seaboard.
Dubois Ross*, ATH, Pius X, PA Ross caught 49 passes for 1,177 yards and 19 touchdowns.
Ryan Switzer*, RB, George Washington, WV Switzer was name First Team-All State AAA.
Greg Webb, DL, Timber Creek, NJ Webb helped guide team to (12-0) record.
David Williams*, RB, West Catholic, PA He ran for over 1,400 yards and 16 touchdowns.
Delton Williams, LB, Cathedral Prep, PA Williams was named PSWA First Team AAA All-State.
Eli Woodard*, DB, Eastern, NJ Woodard has the ideal height and speed for the cornerback position.
 
NUC Special Mention
1. Dontea Ayres, RB, Wicomico, MD Ayres was awarded RB MVP at NUC East Five-Star Showcase.
2. Nigel Beckford, RB, Notre Dame Catholic, CT Beckford was a busy man last season with 1,391 yards rushing and 114 tackles.
3. Malique Belfort, WR, Tottenville, NY A strong performance at the NUC East Five-Star has landed him offers.
4. Tony Bonadies, OL, Palisades Park Leonia, NJ He paved the way for 257 rushing yards per game.
5. Chris Burton, TE, George Washington, VA
Burton was named TE MVP at East Five-Star Showcase.
6. Ousmane Camara, LB, Bay Shore, NY Camara recorded 105 tackles and five sacks.
7. Christian Cole, LB, McDonough, MD Cole had an excellent showing at NUC East Five-Star.
8. Corwin Cutler, QB, Ocean Lakes, VA Cutler won the Leadership Award at NUC East Five-Star.
9. Evrett Edwards, DB, Woodbridge, VA Edwards had a stellar showing at NUC East Five-Star Showcase
10. Zach Grant, WR, Paul VI, NJ Grant had 338 yards of offense and two scores.
11. Marvin Gross, LB, Dunbar, MD Gross has the ideal speed and athleticism to play weekside defensive end.
12. Zachary Hume, LB, Nashoba Regional, MA Hume recorded 122 tackles last season.
13. Darrion Locke, OL, Winston Churchill, MD Locke won OL MVP at NUC East Five-Star.
14. Josh Morris, ATH, La Salle Academy, RI Morris moved from #3 to #1 in the state with strong performance at NUC East Five-Star.
15. Nick Newman, LB, Battlefield, VA Newman was named Co-LB MVP at NUC East Five-Star.
16. Kyle Quiero, ATH, Bergen Catholic, NJ Quiero caught five touchdowns and recorded 44 tackles and four picks.
17. Thomas Plonski, DL, Brooklyn Tech, NY Plonski has the ideal length for a strongside defensive end.
18. Aaaqil Sheppard, LB, Iona Prep, NY Sheppard won Co-LB MVP at NUC East Five-Star.
19. Charles Simons, WR, Palisades Park Leonia, NJ Simons dominated the NUC North Jersey Air Raid 7-on-7.
20. Eric Tetlow, OL, Godwin, VA Tetlow is a huge run mauling offensive tackle.
