Conway, Arkansas (Conway HS) Offensive Tackle Bryton Booher is a load up front at 6'8 300lbs and he is an unheralded prospect that is headed to the University of Arkansas this weekend for another visit with the hometown Razorbacks. Booher is a homegrown young man who is still waiting on his first offer and he is hoping that offer comes this weekend.
"I have been staying in contact with the coaches at Arkansas for a while now and I hoping an offer from them comes soon," said Booher. "I going over there this weekend to watch their spring game and visit the team and coaches. I have been to their campus the most so far and I already feel comfortable being there."
Booher is a massive offensive lineman who for some reason has yet to see the offers come through. He is patiently waiting for the offers to come and he is trying to gather as much information as he can on the schools currently recruiting him. Booher may look to be a lock for the Razorbacks by some but he says that all schools interested have an equal shot at landing his talents.
"I like Arkansas a lot but in no way are they the clear cut favorite," said Booher. "I have yet to receive my first offer so I don't have anyone out in front. I am open to all schools and open minded to anyone interested in me."
Booher is hoping his first offer comes this weekend but if it does not he is ok with that as he plans to camp at multiple colleges this summer. He has been told that coaches are waiting to see him in person and have him camp with them before they are ready to officially offer him.
"Coaches tell me that they like me but want to evaluate me more in person before they offer," said Booher. "I am ok with performing in front of coaches and making them believe in my talents. I am confident in myself and I believe I have what it takes to play on the next level."
Several programs have sought out Booher to find out more about him. Schools like Arkansas, Oklahoma St, Duke, Ole Miss, Tulsa, Arkansas St and Southern Miss have shown the most interest thus far according to Booher and he plans to camp at all these places throughout the summer.
"Right now I don't have any dates set but I do know for a fact that I will be camping at Arkansas, Oklahoma St, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Tulsa and Rice for sure," said Booher. "I plan to camp at several other places and I am open to travel to whoever is interested in me. I am in no rush right now. I just plan to enjoy my time with my recruitment and keep working hard until that I get that first offer."
