The National Underclassmen is proud to present their first ever Buckeye State Rankings. Below is the initial Ohio Top45 which will be expanded upon as the year goes on. Ohio currently has three players in the NUC Ultimate100 and 13 players in the MW Top40. Look for these rankings to be updated once the NUC Five-Star Academies have been completed this spring. There is no doubt that this is one of the deepest and most talented Ohio recruiting classes in recent history.

1. Cameron Burrows, DB, Trotwood-Madison, OH He recorded 46 tackles, 12 PBU's and four picks on the season.
2. Jalin Marshall, ATH, Middletown, OH Ran for 1,859 yards and accounted for 26 touchdowns.
3. Dymonte Thomas*, DB, Marlington, OH Thomas was named DIII First Team All-State.
4. Courtney Love, LB, Cardinal Mooney, OH  Love was named DIII First Team All-State.
5. Mike McCray, LB, Trotwood-Madison, OH McCray helped guide team to OHSAA DII State Title.
6. Evan Lisle, OL, Centerville, OH Lisle helped team average nearly 40 points a game.
7. Shelton Gibson, WR, Cleveland Heights, OH Gibson is one of the fastest football players in Ohio.
8. Billy Price, DL, Austintown Fitch, OH Price was named First Team DI All-State.
9. Brogan Roback, QB, St. John's, OH Roback threw for over 1,600 yards and 14 touchdowns.
10. Taco Charlton*, DL, Pickerington Central, OH He was named 2011 Columbus NUC DL MVP.
11. Ben Gedeon, LB, Hudson, OH   Two-way star rushed for 1,418 yards and 19 scores.
12. Kyle Kempt, QB, Washington, OH  Kempt threw 16 touchdowns versus four picks last season.
13. Malik Zaire*, QB, Archbishop Alter, OH Zaire accounted for 1,822 yards of offense and 20 touchdowns.
14. Tracy Sprinkle, DL, Elyria, OH Sprinkle was named First Team D-I All-Northeast Lakes.
15. Alex Gall, OL, Moeller, OH Gall dominated versus some of the toughest competition in the country.
16. Jake Butt*, TE, Pickerington North, OH He snagged 27 passes for 424 yards and seven scores.
17. Shane Jones, LB, Moeller, OH Jones recorded 90 tackles and nine TFL's.
18. Sean Welsh, OL, Sprinboro, OH Welsh starred on both sides of the ball.
19. Reon Dawson, DB, Trotwood-Madison, OH Dawson helped lead his team to the Ohio D-II State Title.
20. Tra'von Chapman, QB, Roosevelt, OH Chapman was named D-II First Team All-State.
21. Donovan Munger, OL, Shaker Heights, OH Munger was named Second Team D-I All Northeast Lakes.
22. Marcus McWilson, ATH, Cardinal Mooney, OH McWilson was a two-way star for (11-3) team.
23. Darrien Howard*, LB, Chaminade-Julienne, OH Howard recorded an amazing 154 tackles.
24. Aregeros Turner*, RB, Copley, OH Turner totaled 2,100 yards and 18 scores in just eight games.
25. Lovell Peterson, OL, Wayne, OH Peterson may be the top center prospect in the Midwest.
26. RaSheen Jones, LB, Northwest, OH Jones was part of a defense that only rendered 13.5 points per game.
27. Brant Gressel, DL, Centerville, OH Gressel uses great pad level to win the battle at the line of scrimmage.
28. Jayme Thompson*, DB, Central Catholic, OH Thompson was named Second Team D-II All-State.
29. Kyle Meadows, OL, Lakota West, OH Meadows could play several positions along the offensive line.
30. Rob Wheelwright, WR, Walnut Ridge, OH Wheelwright caught 45 passes for 528 yards and eight scores.
31. Mitch Trubisky, QB, Mentor, OH Trubisky was the AP D-I Offensive Player of the Year.
32. Kevin Gladney, WR, Firestone, OH Gladney was leading receiver on team.
33. A.J. Branisel, DL, Notre Dame Cathedral Latin, OH Branisel was named First Team D-III All-Northeast Lakes.
34. Jaron Dukes, WR, Marion Franklin, OH Dukes may be the ideal hybrid TE/WR.
35. Ross Douglass, DB, Avon, OH Douglass was named D-II Third Team All-State.
36. Chris Huhn, OL, Pickerington North, OH Huhn helped team average 36 points a game.
37. Jacob Matuska, TE, Bishop Hartley OH Matuska was named D-IV Second Team All-State.
38. Godwin Igwebuike*, ATH, Pickerington North, OH This two-way star ran for 1,046 yards and recorded six picks.
39. Jarrod Clements*, DL, Dunbar, OH Clements recorded 45 tackles and eight sacks.
40. Isaiah Johnson, OL, Walnut Hills, OH Johnson also stars on the hardwood as he led his team to a (15-1) league record.
41. Keith Towbridge, TE, Central Catholic, OH Towbridge is an every down tight end.
42. Jaylen Powell, DB, Harding, OH Powell is a two-way star at Harding, OH.
43. Keith Watkins, RB, Moeller, OH Watkins is your prototypical all-purpose back.
44. Darian Hicks, ATH, Solon, OH Hicks was part of a defense that threw three shutouts.
45. Caleb Day, DB, Hilliard Darby, OH Day put up 620 yards of offense and scored nine touchdowns.
