Massachusetts State Rankings The National Underclassmen is proud to present their first ever Bay State Rankings. Below is the initial Massachusetts Elite8 which will be expanded upon as the year goes on. Massachusetts has one player currently ranked in the NUC Ultimate100Look for these rankings to be updated once the NUC Five-Star Academies have been completed this spring. *NUC Participant | |
1. John Montelus, OL, Everett, MA | Montelus paved the way for team to win the MIAA E-IA State Championship. |
2. Maurice Hurst, DL, Xaverian Brothers, MA | Hurst recorded 61 tackles, 13.5 TFL's, and seven sacks. |
3. Tevin Montgomery, DL, Tabor Academy, MA | Montgomery could play Strong side defensive end or defensive tackle. |
4. Brendan O'Neil, TE, Buckingham Browne & Nichols, MA | O'Neil was named First Team All-League. |
5. Jack McDonald, OL, Boston College High, MA | McDonald is a versatile offensive lineman. |
6. Zachary Hume*, LB, Nashoba Regional, MA | Hume recorded 122 tackles last season. |
7. DonQuale Williams*, WR, Williston Northampton School, MA | Williams only caught 14 passes but nine went for scores. |
8. Luke Catarius, LB, Boston College High, MA | Catarius recorded 129 tackles and 24 TFL's. |
New England Rankings The National Underclassmen is proud to present their first ever New England Big Four Rankings. The Big Four consist of Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. The Big Four Top5 currently will be updated once the NUC Five-Star Academies have been completed this spring.*NUC Participant | |
1. Tyshon Henderson, OL, St. George's School, RI | This two-way lineman recorded 55 tackles and 12 sacks. |
2. Jake Kennedy, OL, Souhegan, NH | Kennedy recorded 52 tackles and four sacks on defense. |
3. Josh Morris*, ATH, La Salle Academy, RI | Morris was named 2011 Gatorade Rhode Island Player of the Year. |
4. Michael Dulac, OL, Hartford, VT | Dulac led team to Vermont DI State Title. |
5. Donald Goodrich, ATH, Cheverus, ME | Goodrich was named First Team All-State |
