The National Underclassmen is proud to present their first ever Golden State Rankings. Below is the initial California Top50 which will be expanded upon as the year goes on. California currently has 12 players in the NUC Ultimate100 and 23 players in the West Top40. Look for these rankings to be updated once the NUC Five-Star Academies have been completed this spring.

1. Su'a Cravens*, DB, Vista Murrieta, CA Cravens was a one man wrecking crew recording 96 tackles while rushing for 673 yards and catching 20 passes for 339 yards.
2. Justin Davis*, RB, Lincoln, CA Davis ran for 2,380 yards and 36 scores.
3. Kylie Fitts, DL, East Valley, CA Fitts recorded 79 tackles and 8.5 sacks on the season.
4. Steven Mitchell*, WR, Bishop Alemany, CA He was named CIF PAC-5 First Team.
5. Aaron Cochran, OL, Buhach Colony, CA He guided team to (12-1) record paving the way for over 300 rushing yards per game.
6. Eddie Vanderdoes, DL, Placer, CA Vanderdoes recorded 59 tackles and eight sacks on the season.
7. Max Redfield, DB, Mission Viejo, CA He recorded 33 tackles, two picks and caught 32 passes for 528 yards.
8. Dashon Hunt, DB, Westlake, CA Hunt was a two-way star recording six picks two of which were returned for scores.
9. Khalfani Muhammad*, RB, Notre Dame, CA He has rushed for 1,987 yards and 25 touchdowns while catching 30 passes over the last two seasons.
10. Vita Vea, DL, Milpitas, CA Vea recorded 105 tackles and six sacks this past season.
11. David Price, DB, Long Beach Poly, CA Price recorded 66 tackles on the season.
12. Riley Sorenson, OL, Santa Margarita, CA Sorenson helped guide team to a (13-2) record.
13. Joe Mathis, DL, Upland, CA He recorded 79 sacks, six sacks, and recovered two fumbles.
14. Demorea Stringfellow, WR, Rancho Verde, CA Stringfellow was named Second Team All-Inland Empire.
15. Michael Hutchings*, LB, De La Salle, CA Hutchings recorded 56 tackles and two sacks on the season.
16. John Lopez*, OL, Orange Lutheran, CA Lopez was one of the top underclassmen performers at both NUC and Nike Camps.
17. Denzel Talifero*, LB, Muir, CA Talifero recorded 122 tackles on the season.
18. Hayden Rettig*, QB, Cathedral, CA Rettig has passed for 3,041 yards and 24 touchdowns the past two seasons.
19. L.J. Moore, DB, Fresno Central, CA Athletic defensive back is also one of the area's top high jumpers.
20. Deon Martin, Jr., RB, Stockdale, CA Martin ran for 1,900 yards and 26 touchdowns as a sophomore.
21. Troy Williams*, QB, Narbonne, CA Williams threw for 3,247 yards and 34 touchdowns.
22. Drew Wolitarsky*, WR, Canyon, CA He snagged 75 passes for 1,628 yards and 19 scores.
23. Johnny Stanton, QB, Santa Margarita, CA Stanton accounted for 3,867 yards and 34 touchdowns this past season.
24. Hatari Byrd*, DB, Fresno Central, CA Big hitting safety recorded 110 tackles on the season.
25. Terrell Newby, II*, RB, Chaminade, CA Newby ran for over 2,000 yards and 35 touchdowns.
26. Craig Lee*, RB, Redlands, CA Lee ran for 1,534 yards and 15 touchdowns last season.
27. Chris Hawkins, DB, Rancho Cucamonga, CA Hawkins was named First Team All-Conference.
28. Cameron Walker, DB, Loyola, CA Walker recorded 43 tackles and ran for 490 yards.
29. Pierre Cormier*, RB, Madison, CA Cormier ran for 1,471 yards and 20 scores.
30. Francis Owusu, WR, Oaks Christian, CA Owusu caught 35 passes for 705 yards and eight scores.
31. Samuel Smith, DL, Cosumnes Oaks, CA Smith stars on both sides of the ball.
32. John Ross, WR, Jordan, CA Two way star led team in receptions and picks.
33. Brandon Cox, QB, Pasadena, CA Cox threw for 2,697 yards and 26 touchdowns.
34. Nico Falah, OL, St. John Bosco, CA Falah helped team average over 400 yards of offense per game.
35. Erik Bunte, OL, Santa Margarita, CA Bunte guided team to 13-2 record.
36. DaVonte Young, RB, St. John Bosco, CA Young ran for 1,035 yards and eight scores.
37. Marcus Baugh*, TE, JW North, CA This hybrid tight end presents serious matchup issues.
38. Tyrell Robinson, ATH, Lincoln, CA Robinson is also a star on the hardwood.
39. Tyree Robinson, ATH, Lincoln, CA Robinson is also a star on the hardwood.
40. Aaron Baltazar*, ATH, Eastlake, CA This two-way star recorded over 70 tackles last season.
41. Julius Wilson, WR, Culver City, CA Wilson Caught 55 passes for 847 yards and five scores.
42. Austin Hooper, DL, De La Salle, CA Hooper recorded 46 tackles and 11.5 sacks.
43. Tahaan Goodman, DB, Rancho Cucamonga, CA Goodman had 45 tackles on the season.
44. Elijah Qualls, DL, Casa Grande, CA Qualls Ran for 1,139 yards and recorded 76 tackles.
45. Derek Babiash, DB, Poway, CA Babiash helped team win CIF San Diego DI Title.
46. Thomas Duarte*, TE, Mater Dei, CA Duarte was TE MVP at the NUC Los Angeles Beat the Heat last year.
47. Chauntez Jackson, DL, Inglewood, CA Jackson could player either defensive end position.
48. Kenneth Carter, DL, Wilmer Carter, CA Carter recorded 36 tackles and 6.5 sacks last season.
49. Sean Harlow, OL, San Clemente, CA Harlow helped guide team to 12-2 record.
50. J.D. Hinnant, OL, Fountain Valley, CA Hinnat was named Second Team All-League.
