FSU Visit & Possible Offer Excites Bland

Fort Lauderdale, Florida (St. Thomas Aquinas HS) OG/C Austin Bland has a big weekend ahead of him and he has been looking forward to this moment for quite some time now. Austin is headed up to Tallahassee this upcoming weekend for a junior day camp at Florida State University and he has been a big fan of the Seminole football program since his was a young kid. He is hoping he impresses the right people in attendance and upon leaving the camp he hopes an official offer from the Florida State Seminoles comes home with him.
"I am excited about camping at Florida State this weekend and I have been in contact with their coaches from some time now and I am really hoping they like me enough to offer. I have been a fan of their program since I was young and I never dreamed I would eventually have an opportunity to play at my childhood favorite. This weekend should be a great experience for me and I am just ready to get it started, said Bland."
Austin Bland is 6'3 260lb interior offensive lineman who has already received official offers from Cincinnati and Purdue with many others staying in contact and pursuing him with consistent attention. Austin is enjoying his recruiting process and enjoying seeing so many college coaches interested in his talents. He has already had the chance to attend a junior day camp at the University of Georgia and he has it in the plans to see several other college campuses this offseason. Austin is hoping his next offer comes soon but is unsure as to who it will come from.
"I have been getting interest from several schools for a while now but some schools have shown more attention than others. I have been hearing a lot lately from Indiana, Kansas, Miami FL, Florida State and Missouri and I really hope my third offer comes this weekend at Florida State. I have been getting real good feedback from Missouri and if I had to guess I would think they could end up becoming my next offer. I am interested in Missouri and I like the fact that they are headed to the SEC next year, said the St. Thomas Aquinas High School lineman."
Austin ultimately would like to take his time and find the best school that fits him the best, but if a certain offer came through then it would make him think hard about making a commitment.
"Florida State is my dream school and if they offered this weekend or at any other time than that would make me think real hard about giving them my commitment. I have watched Florida State football since I was young and I would be honored to wear their jersey for my college career, said Bland."
