The National Underclassmen is proud to present their first ever Tar Heel State Rankings. Below is the initial North Carolina Top20 which will be expanded upon as the year goes on. North Carolina currently has two players in the NUC Ultimate100 and five players in the Southeast Top60. Look for these rankings to be updated once the NUC Five-Star Academies are complete this spring.

1. Peter Kalambayi, LB, Butler, NC Kalambayi was named NC First Team All-State.
2. Marquez North, WR, Mallard Creek, NC He caught 31 passes for 788 yards and nine touchdowns.
3. Greg Gilmore, DL, South View, NC He recorded 68 tackles and four forced fumbles.
4. R.J. Prince, OL, Albemarle, NC Prince led his team to a 13-2 record and state semifinal appearance.
5. Uriah Lemay, WR, Butler, NC He caught 43 passes for 842 yards and 14 touchdowns.
6. Larenz Bryant, ATH, Vance, NC Bryant was named NC First Team All-State.
7. Khris Francis*, RB, Hillside, NC Francis ran for 2,250 yards and 31 touchdowns.
8. Connor Mitch, QB, Wakefield, NC Mitch threw for 3,832 yards and 48 touchdowns on the season.
9. T.J. Logan, RB, Northern Guilford, NC Logan ran for 2,468 yards and 38 scores last season.
10. Tyrone Crowder, OL, Richmond, NC Crowder is the top interior line prospect in the state.
11. Tristan Mumford*, RB, Statesville, NC He threw for 1,427 yards and rushed for 750 yards and ten scores.
12. Brian Walker, DB, Mallard Creek, NC Walker helped guide team to (13-1) record.
13. Carlis Parker*, QB, Statesville, NC Parker accounted for 2,972 yards of offense and 24 scores as a sophomore.
14. Lewis Neal, DL, Hunt, NC Neal was part of defense that held opponents to eight points or less six times.
15. Tyquan Lewis, DL, Tarboro, NC Lewis helped guide team to 2A NCHSAA Championship.
16. Keeon Johnson*, WR, A.L. Brown, NC Johnson snagged 39 passes for 795 yards and five touchdowns.
17. Desmond Lawrence, ATH, Charlotte Christian, NC Lawrence rushed for 754 yards and seven scores while averaging 19.6 yards per punt return.
18. Lachaston Smith, LB, South Iredell, NC Smith recorded 82 tackles and two picks on the season.
19. Riley Ferguson, QB, Butler, NC Ferguson threw for over 3,300 yards and 48 touchdowns.
20. Jordan Fieulleteau, WR, Wakefield, NC He caught 86 passes for 1,178 yards and 12 touchdowns.
