Trey Williams Highlights

CS: Tell us about your whole recruiting process and what lead to you giving your commitment to Texas A&M?
TW: “The recruiting was very stressful for me and I was glad I was able to get it over with early. The reason I choose Texas A&M was because the recruiting class that is being brought in for next year is superb. I also get a family feel every time I am in College Station from the current team and random students on campus, said Williams.”
CS:What are your thoughts on A&M moving into the Southeastern Conference starting next season?
TW: “I think it is absolutely great for the school. The competition level will go up big time and I am excited about playing against the best players in college football, said Williams.”

CS: What are your thoughts on new Head Coach Kevin Sumlin?
TW: “I am cool with it. I have been able to talk with him and he seems like a real cool guy. I need to learn the new offense he is bringing in, but he has told me that he plans to let me run the ball and that he will lean on the strengths of all his players. I am excited about the opportunity of playing for him and the Aggies.”.
CS: What is the biggest thing about football that you love the most?
TW: “The love and support you receive from your fans, family and friends is great. I also love to win and there isn’t nothing like winning in football.”
CS: Who is the biggest influence in your life?
TW: “The man upstairs is biggest person in my life that I look to for advice and knowledge. I stick with him through thick and thin and I know he will guide me to a successful life.”
CS: Which pro athlete today or past do you model your game after?
TW: “I would say Walter Payton or Barry Sanders.”
CS: What is a hidden talent of yours that not many people may know?
TW:“I am a good singer.”

CS: What would you like to do with your life after your football career is over?
TW: “I would either like to become an actor or a football commentator.”
CS: If there were 3 things you could not live without, what would they be?
TW: “Happiness, football and matches.”

CS: What is the biggest thing about college that scares you the most?
TW: “Nothing. I am fully prepared to take the next step with my life. I think college is not ready for me and not ready for what I will be bringing to College Station.”
