Anthony Davis Warren Central HS, IN 11th RB #109 | Davis took home the RB MVP honors. At 5'7 190, Davis had a 32 inch vertical, 8'5 broad jump, ran a 4.50 shuttle, bench pressed 185 lbs 19 times, ran nice routes, displayed excellent hands and was unbelievable during 7 on 7's. |
DJ Bays Spring Valley HS, WV 11th FB #342 | Bays was the strong position skill player. The powerful 5'8.5 234 lb fullback bench pressed 185 lbs 36 times and is a force to be reckoned with. |
Takudzwa Kubvoruno Gull Lake HS, MI 11th WR #177 | Kubvoruno, 5'11 175, was nothing short of spectacular. The gifted wideout had a 9'7 broad jump, ran a 4.19 shuttle, 4.51 40, had good speed, terrific hands, put together awesome routes and was coachable. WR MVP? You bet. |
Tanner Crum Mt. Carmel HS, IL 11th OL #417 | Crum epitomized what dominance was en route to claiming the Overall MVP. At 6'2 282, Crum bench pressed 185 lbs 36 times, had great physical strength, awesome size, solid footwork and incredible technique, silencing every d-lineman to step up and challenge him. This is what you call a special player. |
Hyeong-Joo Kim Glenbrook North HS, IL 11th OL #419 | For the second time in as many events, Kim took home the OL MVP. A massive 6'0 303 lbs, Kim bench pressed 185 lbs 25 times, plays with great intensity, battled the d-lineman throughout the day and has great size. |
Billy Davis Carmel HS, IN 11th TE #323 | Davis, 6'2.5 205, earned the TE MVP with a solid all around performance. With quick feet, running a 4.45 shuttle, good hands and tightly ran routes, Davis placed himself amongst the day's best. |
Trevon Pendleton Portsmouth West HS, OH 11th LB #313 | Pendleton won the coveted Dodie Donell award following an all around great effort. The 5'11.5 224 lb standout had a 30.5 inch vertical, 8'6 broad jump, ran a 4.30 shuttle, bench pressed 185 lbs 27 times and ran the show during the individual position period. He is without a doubt a special player. |
Julian Boyd Roswell HS, GA 11th LB #357 | Boy(d) can Julian play! At 6'1.5 199, Boyd had quick feet, great lateral quickness, read routes well, was coachable and ran a 4.42 shuttle en route to claiming the LB MVP. |
Lorenzo Brandon Hampshire HS, IL 11th S #197 | Brandon came up with the DB MVP award after battling with the offense throughout the day. The 5'9 171 lb nuisance had great jamming ability, covered the deep ball well, plays great in man to man, transitions smoothly and makes the big plays. He also had an 8'10 broad jump and ran a 4.42 shuttle. Brandon is an offensive coordinator's worst nightmare. |
Marquise Cushon Raytown South HS, MO 11th CB #190 | Cushon has tremendous heart and refused to quit. He worked hard but managed to remain humble. The 5'8 155 lb d-back did everything the coaches asked for and was a pleasure to coach, earning himself the Leadership Award. He also jumped 9'6 in the broad and ran a 4.44 shuttle. |
Josh Lisenby De La Salle Institute, IL 11th DL #355 | Lisenby, 6'2 238, won the DL MVP. He ran a 4.53 shuttle, bench pressed 185 lbs 21 times, was fast off the ball, while displaying great hands and good hips. |
Ryan Smith Henry Clay HS, KY 11th DL #415 | Smith had quite a day for himself, winning the Big Man Combine King and Strongest Lineman awards. Uniquely talented for a 6'0.5 300 lb player, Smith had a 29 inch vertical, ran a 4.66 shuttle and bench pressed 185 lbs 36 times. 300 pound players this talented aren't easy to come by. |
