Shaq Thompson Elmont HS, CA 10th WR #88 | Just like the other Shaq we all know, Thompson's performance was a slam dunk. The 6'0.5 187 lb phenom had a 30 inch vertical, 9'8 broad jump, ran a4.21 shuttle, 4.57 40, bench pressed 155 lbs 18 times and was physical, strong and quick during 1 on 1's. Thompson's outstanding display earned him the Overall MVP, Combine King and Fastest Man awards, putting him in a small group of athletes to win all three. |
Joseph Teo De La Salle HS, CA 10th S #123 | Teo earned the DB MVP. The 5'10 185 lb Teo had great jamming technique, good hips, quick feet, strong hands, impressive speed, ran a 4.40 shuttle and bench pressed 155 lbs 21 times. |
Jeremy Hernandez Union Mine HS, CA 10th DL #110 | Hernandez was simply in the zone throughout the combine. As a defensive lineman with a 30 inch vertical, 8'10 broad jump and 4.39 shuttle run, few at his position can claim to have the same type of athleticism. Hernandez was fast off the ball and had good hands, making him a difficult match up during 1 on 1's, which rightfully earned him the DL MVP. |
Austin Brown Lincoln HS, CA 10th OL #94 | Brown, 6'0.5 265, won the OL MVP and Strongest Man awards. The powerful Brown bench pressed 185 lbs 26 times, was coachable, strong during 1 on 1's and had good feet. |
Trevor Jacobs Terra Nova HS, CA 10th QB #104 | Jacobs was awarded the QB MVP. At 6'1 165, Jacobs had an 8'5 broad jump, displayed solid footwork, made great reads on the defense and threw a good ball. |
Dalis Bruce Monte Vista HS, CA 10th WR #67 | Bruce was feeling like a million bucks after winning the WR MVP. The 5'9 166 lb standout had an 8'11 broad jump, ran a 4.18 shuttle, displayed great feet, ran awesome routes and made some solid grabs during 1 on 1's. |
Kiante Toney Franklin HS, CA 10th RB #50 | Toney, 5'5.5 147, took home RB MVP honors. Toney had an 8'3 broad jump, good hands, solid speed and worked diligently during 1 on 1's. |
Jordan Owensby Franklin HS, CA 10th LB #79 | Owensby was named the LB MVP. At 5'10 190, Owensby bench pressed 155 lbs 21 times, is coachable, a great listener with a physical style, good feet and the attitude of a champion. |
