Sean Morris Clovis West HS, CA 10th RB #12 | Wow! That's basically all that I can say after Morris won the Overall MVP, Fastest Man and Combine King awards. At 5'8 178, Norris had a 30.5 inch vertical, 8'5 broad jump, ran a 4.34 shuttle, 4.54 40, bench pressed 155 lbs 32 times, has awesome physical strength, is explosive runs nice routes, is smart and has good hands. I don't think there is much missing here. |
Demetrius Warren Bullard HS, CA 10th RB #3 | Warren, 5'5.5 155, was awarded the RB MVP. He had a 33.5 inch vertical, 9'0 broad jump, ran a 4.25 shuttle, 4.60 40, displayed quick feet and worked hard. |
Matt Lea Central HS, CA 10th S #90 | Lea was also awarded the Combine King. An awesome athlete at 5'9.5 183, Lea 31.5 inch vertical, 8'8 broad jump, ran a 4.34 shuttle, 5.6 50, bench pressed 155 lbs 18 times and did a terrific job in 1 on 1's. |
Tyler Bates Madera HS, CA 10th LB #78 | Bates, 6'1 193, won the LB MVP. He had an 8'1 broad jump, ran a 4.31 shuttle, was physical, easy to coach, displayed good feet, solid hips and outstanding closing speed. |
Donald Phelps Washington Union HS, CA 10th WR #45 | Phelps, 5'11.5 177, took home WR MVP honors. He had an 8'11 broad jump, ran a 4.61 shuttle, 4.66 40, displayed terrific hand and made some grabs in traffic. |
Todd Kanawyer Reedley HS, CA 10th QB #16 | Kanawyer, 5'9.5 156, nabbed the QB MVP honors. He had an 8'9 broad jump, ran a 4.49 shuttle, throws a nice ball, has great footwork and impressive fundamentals. |
Andre Mitchell Citrus Hill HS, GA 10th CB #87 | Mitchell, 5'7 145, was awarded the DB MVP. The shut down corner ran a 4.47 shuttle, is quick, displayed good hip movement and is an all out ball hawk. |
Marcus Wood Centennial HS, CA 10th OL #149 | Wood, 5'10 262, was the OL MVP. He had great feet, tremendous hand strength, listened to the coaches and is a natural born leader. |
Abib Shittu Buhach Colony HS, CA 10th DL #126 | Whether you get a rise out of his last name or not, Abib Shittu is no laughing matter. The 6'2 269 lb phenom bench pressed 185 lbs 16 times, had tremendous lower body strength and an outstanding punch en route to dominating the 1 on 1's while winning the DL MVP. |
Deontay Greenberry Washington Union HS, CA 10th WR #66 | Greenberry, 6'2 177, was the co-DB MVP. He had a 30 inch vertical, 8'11 broad jump, ran a 4.33 shuttle, very good feet and breaks well on the ball. |
Raoh Betlel Kingsburg HS, CA 10th WR #74 | Betlel was awarded the co-WR MVP. The 6'2 175 lb standout had an 8'5 broad jump, ran a 4.59 shuttle and displayed good hands. |
Ernesto Hcosta Centennial HS, CA 10th OL #89 | Hcosta won the Strongest Man award. An absolute monster at 6'3.5 330, Hcosta bench pressed 185 lbs 23 times. |
Petro Ibarra Dinuba HS, CA 10th CB #82 | Ibarra, 5'8 146, took home the Leadership award. He ran a 4.30 shuttle, works extremely hard, is vocal and sets a good example. |
