Rising Star Kyle Bolin tops Lexington freshman session!

Kyle Bolin of Lexington Catholic HS is a star on his way up. The 6'1 168 lb QB throws a terrific ball, has mechanics like an auto body shop, great footwork and a quick drop step. Not bad for a kid just one year into high school right? Bolin also has quick feet and competing against the sophomores, was a unanimous choice for QB MVP. His future is bright as ever.
Jacob Hyde (Grayson County) took home the Overall MVP and Strongest Man awards. A giant of a freshman at 6'1 304, Hyde tossed up 155 lbs 38 times, had terrific quickness for a player his size. If I were to tell you that freshman often were Hyde's size, I would be lying through my teeth.
Alton Yarbrough was all the way through at the combine, taking home the WR MVP and Fastest Man awards. The 5'11 158 lb Yarbrough had a 31 inch vertical, 8'11 broad jump, ran a 4.68 shuttle and stared during the individual period. From a pure athleticism standpoint, few freshman can match Yarbrough.
Christian "Real Deal" McNeal was simply in a league of his own during the 1 on 1's. The 6'0.5 246 lb standout had quick hands, massive strength and long arms, making the opposing linemen's' day a nightmare.
Matthew Pyke, the OL MVP, is 5'11.5 286 lbs in the 8th grade. Enough said! Potential wise, it's scary to think about what he can do with improved conditioning.
There must really be a special potion in Lexington's water system, as I have never seen freshman as big as those previously mentioned.
