Andre Craine Brando HS, MS 11th CB #102 | Craine, 5'11.5 177, won the Overall MVP. Craine had a 33 inch vertical, 9'2 broad jump, ran a 4.44 shuttle, 4.54 40, had terrific speed, hips, good footwork, nice ball skills and challenged the receiver every time he was on the field. Craine is the kind of player that any coach would love to have. |
Frederick Brown Jim Hill HS, MS 10th WR #26 | Brown, 6'0 159, took home the WR MVP. A sophomore competing with the juniors, Brown had a 9'5 broad jump, did a good job of getting open, has good leaping ability and has soft hands. |
DeVante Nichols Pearl HS, MS 11th WR #26 | Nichols, 5'5.5 153, was the co-WR MVP. Undersized but terrifically skilled, Nichols ran a 4.54 shuttle, had good hands and catches the ball well. |
Jeremiah Chandler Stringer HS, MS 11th QB #59 | Chandler, 5'8.5 180, took home the QB MVP after a terrific performance. Chandler ran a 4.56 shuttle, had good feet and arms, throws the deep ball well and was accurate at throwing the ball short distances. |
Joseph Martin Mendenhall HS, MS 11th LB #104 | There is no Chris Berman at the NUC and this 5'9 188 lb standout isn't Curtis, but Joseph is definitely my favorite Martin! Martin won the LB MVP after wowing coaches with his 30.5 inch vertical, 8'11 broad jump, ran a 4.54 shuttle, had good foot speed, was intelligent and consistently hustled. Martin can do it all! |
De'Montre Cooper Jim Hill HS, MS 11th LB #32 | Cooper, 5'9 181, was the co-LB MVP. Cooper had a 30 inch vertical, NBA-like 10'0 broad jump, had great feet, impressive flexibility and jammed receivers throughout the 1 on 1's. |
DeMordra Naylor Pearl HS, MS 11th S #61 | Naylor, 6'1.5 174, won the DB MVP. Naylor had a 31.5 inch vertical, 9'4 broad jump, ran a 4.31 shuttle, used his length to help him deflect passes during 1 on 1's, and is agile. |
Michael Brinson University Christian School, MS 11th DL #103 | Brinson, 6'3.4 285, was a monster of a man and the DL MVP. Brinson had terrific unmatched athleticism for a player his size, with an 8'4 broad jump and 4.58 shuttle run, in addition to bench pressing 185 lbs 23 times and starring during 1 on 1's. He is powerful, quick, strong, smart, physical and intelligent. Brinson has D-1 star written all over him. |
William Chism St. Andrews HS, MS 11th OL #89 | Chism, 6'2.5 257, took home the OL MVP. Chism had an 8'0 broad jump, bench pressed 185 lbs 17 times, was aggressive, had a good demeanor and an even better attitude. Chism will only improve and is eager to do so. |
Hunter Farrior Central Hinds Academy, MS 11th LB #58 | Farrior, 6'0 188, won the Leadership award. Farrior led by example, hustling all over the field, had a 9'0 broad jump and ran a 4.48 shuttle. |
